WATCH: RINO Congressman Dan Crenshaw Tries to Trip Reporter Who Called Him Out for Warmongering

A video showing Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) tripping an independent reporter back in late 2023 has resurfaced once again, making the rounds on social media platform X. The clip shows Crenshaw taking a stroll near the U.S. Capitol as a group of independent reporters and publishers from the National File, a website founded by commentator Alex Jones, bombarding the congressman with questions concerning funding for Ukraine.

The encounter was captured in a two-minute video and shared by the National File on X and took place not long after House Republicans had voted for Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) to be the party’s pick for House speaker, which, as we know, did not go to the Louisiana congressman, but to Rep. Mike Johnson, also of Louisiana. The original top choice was Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) who was endorsed by President Donald Trump.

The last seven seconds of the clip show the alleged tripping of the reporter. “Dan Crenshaw INTENTIONALLY ASSAULTED National File publisher @NoelFritsch while @HowleyReporter was asking Dan about his support for the War Machine and Scalise’s lack of votes needed to become #HouseSpeaker,” National File stated in the original post published on X.

According to a report from Newsweek, the clip shows National File reporters questioning Crenshaw on whether funding for Ukraine would have an impact on the speaker vote, with one individual in the group saying that “a lot of people” do not want to see more money going toward the country and their conflict with Russia.

The same reporter then claimed that some are against further funding for Ukraine because the nation’s leader, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is a cocaine user and has wasted American tax dollars that have been sent to the country by the billions. Charles Downs and Patrick Howley, the two reporters with the National File, also called Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL, a “warmonger” and “McCain 2.0.”

The latter name is a reference to now-deceased Sen. John McCain, who conservatives viewed as a Republican In Name Only, or RINO. Crenshaw increasingly became visibly agitated by Downs and Howley, telling the pair to “get a job” and calling them “miscreants.” The two men then informed the Texas Republican that “America really hates you.”

Howley then asks if Crenshaw supports funding “the defense industry to keep these wars going.” During the exchange, Crenshaw starts to walk behind National File Publisher Noel Fritsch and kicks his leg, tripping him. Fritsch then claimed that the lawmaker “intentionally assaulted” him. Folks shared their thoughts on the incident by commenting on the resurfaced clip.

“I hope he pressed charges. I said before that Crenshaw is volatile and bears watching,” a user said. Someone else in the comment section noted this wasn’t the first time the Texas Republican engaged in such behavior. “This is not the first time Crenshaw has done this,” the commenter said. Another summed everyone’s thoughts up by simply stating, “Dan Crenshaw is a RINO sellout.” A third individual wrote, “Eyepatch McCain is getting rich off of his warmongering. That’s what the rest of the swamp creatures are doing too. I would bet money that he gets kickbacks from Ukraine.”
