Very Suspicious $2 Million Biden Bucks Grant to Fani Willis Exposed, Suggests Major Coordination of Anti-Trump Prosecutions in Contrast to Fani Willis’s Past Claims

An investigation launched by the Georgia state legislature into a no-bid grant handed out by the Biden Justice Department to the office of the district attorney of Fulton County, Fani Willis, could be on the cusp of exposing the nature of the relationship between the prosecutor and Democrats in Washington. The probe is focused on a grant from 2022 for $2 million that Willis managed to secure for her Office of Justice Programs’ Community Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative.

Between the years of 2021 and 2024, Main Justice, led by then-Attorney General Merrick Garland, directed a total of $18 million, which is an incredibly large amount for just a single county, to Willis’ office. During that time, Willis also brought a criminal racketeering case against President Donald Trump and 18 other individuals with close connections to him. She also accused the president of trying to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia.

However, the case was tossed out after it was discovered that Willis was disqualified from handling it due to having a secret romantic relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, whom she had handpicked to work the case against Trump. Four months after Trump and the 18 other defendants were charged, Willis penned a note to a senior Department of Justice official named Scott Pestridge.

The note, according to the New York Sun, said, “I want to document your recognition of our progress and services provided with dynamic partners, as we complete sole source steps for our new grant award, a grant in which you invited us to apply.” The note, which was uncovered by Just the News, confirmed that the application process was uncompetitive, referred to as “sole source” and by invitation.

A fact sheet from the DOJ says that “sole source procurement is procurement through solicitation of a proposal from only one source … all sole source procurements require adequate written justification.” Georgia state Sen. Greg Dolezal, a Republican, is heading up the investigation into the grant. Dolezal is a member of a subcommittee dedicated to investigating Willis and her activity.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche was asked at the Conservative Political Action Conference in March if Willis and Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg would “face justice.” He replied, “Yes. When you talk about justice, we are working hard every day. And I don’t just say ‘working hard’ as a cliché. I mean the attorney general and myself, every day, seven days a week, are focused on bringing justice — and it will come.”

Democrats and Willis had an equal admiration of one another that was put on full display in another document released as part of the open records litigation when one of her aides wrote to a Democratic staffer on the House January 6 Committee saying that, “Our initial review of the report confirms you all have accomplished amazing things in the past year.”

In 2024, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) asked that “documents and information about the coordination of the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office (FCDAO) with other politically motivated investigations and the potential misuse of federal funds” be handed over. Willis refused to cooperate with the investigation, claiming that it was an unconstitutional intrusion on state law enforcement prerogatives.

The $18 million that Ms. Willis received from the Biden Administration is close to the $17 million sum that her office might soon have to pay under a brand new regulation that says disqualified prosecutors are liable for legal bills if charges are tossed out. President Trump is requesting $6 million under the statute. Willis still claims it’s unconstitutional and is currently in the process of challenging its application to her case.
