Speaking during an exceedingly contentious hearing in Congress on Wednesday, April 15, far-left Congressional Representative Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ) raised eyebrows all over America when she declared during an angry tirade about President Donald J. Trump that he should be “eliminated.”
That came as she attacked Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought over his attempts to lay out the Trump Administration’s budget for the fiscal year 2027, which includes no small number of cuts, particularly across the federal bureaucracy and welfare state, as the administration works to cut away the branches of Deep State control in America.
Rep. Watson Coleman was evidently infuriated by those cuts and what they represent, as she berated the OMB Director, who is widely regarded in MAGA circles as one of the best appointments the president has made, for his attempts to trim back federal expenditures and the federal bureaucracy.
She said, beginning her rant by attacking Director Vought and Budget Committee Chairman Rep. Jodey Arrington (R-TX). Doing so, she said, “I was just trying to figure out where I could find a needle large enough to burst the bubble that you guys live in, because you’re not living in reality.”
During the angry exchange, Vought tried to push back on Coleman by defending the administration’s approach to cutting the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), saying that it was utterly full of fraudulent and wasteful spending that shreds taxpayer dollars unnecessarily. Rep. Watson Coleman angrily responded, “I’m so tired of hearing of false, fraud, and abuse from any of my colleagues, and even from you.”
That’s when she then made her absolutely horrific comment about President Trump, calling for him to be “eliminated”. She said, “If we wanted to eliminate abuse and fraud, we’d eliminate the President of the United States from the office right now, and the rest of the sycophants in his administration that are allowing him to do so many illegal things.” The official White House Rapid Response account soon posted the video and declared, “These people are SICK!”

After the clip exploded online, drawing many criticisms, Rep. Watson Coleman decided to double down on what she had said. She declared, “Correct, I’ve been a vocal critic of Trump’s corruption, abuse of office, and violence against the American People, US Capitol Police, and civilians abroad. I’m calling for Trump to be impeached and removed from office – as I have for months.”
Commenters on her post skewered her both for it and what she had said, saying, “ELIMINATION does not mean IMPEACHMENT and you knew exactly what you were saying and doing!” another snapped, “Why don’t you start with something you know about ELIMINATE FRAUD & stop being the political old theater hag that thinks your voice is actually honored.”
Still another said, “You want to eliminate abuse? Start with your own words. You shame our nation to the world with your unhinged rhetoric” and yet another added, “You need to be arrested immediately. You threatened the President with violence. You are a disgrace to this country.”
