Trump Skewers MTG as She Angrily Demands He Be Removed by the 25th Amendment

In the wake of former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene calling for him to be replaced, President Donald J. Trump sounded off on the former congresswoman and roasted her with a vengeance while praising the MAGA representative that received his endorsement and has won the electoral victory replacing her.

As background, Rep. MTG was formerly a supporter of President Trump, but fell out with him for unclear reasons. She was replaced, as of Tuesday, April 7, with Clay Fuller, a conservative who has worked as a district attorney and is respected in his area while being a stable individual, unlike MTG.

In any case, Trump set her off by threatening, before the Iran ceasefire, that he would destroy Iranian civilization. He said, “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!”

Former Congresswoman Greene went absolutely berserk in an angry post on X about the whole thing, ranting and declaring, “25TH AMENDMENT!!! Not a single bomb has dropped on America. We cannot kill an entire civilization. This is evil and madness.”

Trump then sounded off on MTG in reply on Wednesday, April 8, roasting her and cheering her replacement. Doing so, he said, “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown’s (GREEN TURNS TO BROWN UNDER STRESS!) seat in Congress has been taken over by a wonderful and talented man, Clay Fuller, who won convincingly, and right from the beginning, despite many people running for that “TRUMP” +37 seat, and despite the stench left by Greene. Congratulations to Clay Fuller, a very large improvement over his deranged predecessor! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

The day before the election, for reference, he had also called on Georgians to back Greene’s replacement, saying, “There is a very important Special Election tomorrow, Tuesday, April 7th, in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District! I am asking all Republicans, America First Patriots, and MAGA Warriors, to please GET OUT AND VOTE for a fantastic Candidate, Clay Fuller, who has my Complete and Total Endorsement! GA-14: Polls are open from 7:00 A.M to 7:00 P.M. IF YOU ARE IN LINE BY 7 P.M., STAY IN LINE, AND THEY MUST LET YOU VOTE! Election Day is TOMORROW, April 7th. GET OUT AND VOTE, VOTE, VOTE FOR CLAY FULLER — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”

For reference, the relevant part of the 25th Amendment to which Greene and others are referring when the reference it is Section 4. It provides, “Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.”

It also provides, “Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”

And, describing how disputes regarding use of the power are to be handled, it notes, “Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.”
