WATCH: Trump Has Hilarious Reaction, Skewers Woke Fox News Personality When Told He’ll Have to Sit Next to Her

In a March 26, 2026, remote call-in to Fox News’ “The Five,” Jesse Watters jokingly urged President Trump to appear in-studio next to liberal co-host Jessica Tarlov, saying he’d be a “good influence.” Trump replied he’s “not a fan,” accusing her of “fake numbers” on his polling (e.g., claiming 42%) and likening polls to bad journalism, though adding she’s “a lovely person.” Watters confirmed her absence was due to scheduling.

This is far from the only case where her opinions have caused issues. In Tarlov’s September 15, 2025, clash days after Charlie Kirk’s Sept. 10 assassination. She demanded “more information” before “smearing” the shooter and cited Rep. Melissa Hortman’s June 2025 killing for a “both sides” argument. Greg Gutfeld erupted: “We don’t need more information!” insisting violence comes only from the left and “that sh*t is dead.”

In any case, the clip began with Jesse Waters saying, “Mr. President, the next time you do this on the Five, can we have you on set? Because we really want you to sit next to Jessica. I think you’d be a good influence on her. Can you do that?”

Responding, Trump stated, “Well, I think I’ve watched Jessica, and I’m not a fan. She uses fake numbers. She’ll [say] ‘Well, he’s only polling 42%’ that’s not right, putting polling very high actually. You know, polls are just like that.”

Building on that point, he noted, “I hate people who use fake polls, because polls are just like bad journalists. You know, bad journalists, they write fake stories, will fake polls do damage also? But that’s the thing. I’m sure I’d like her. I’m sure she’s a lovely person.”

Waters added, “Yeah, she’s a lovely person. She really misses the fact that she’s not here. I get it. We’re working on her. Don’t worry.” Trump interjected, “Now, tell me, did she not want to do it, or did you kick her off?” Waters responded, We didn’t kick her off. She had a previous schedule that she couldn’t change.”

As we have previously reported, Jessica Tarlov has a long history of promoting baseless left-wing claims, such as when she demanded  “more information” on the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and called out other hosts for trying to “smear” the suspect.

Fighting back, Greg Gutfeld declared, “We don’t need more information!” adding, “What is interesting here is why is only this happening on the left and not the right? That’s all we need to know. You want to talk about Melissa Hortman? Did you know her name before it happened? None of us did. None of us were spending every single day talking about Mrs. Hortman. I never heard about her until she died.”

Triggered Tarlov snapped, “So she doesn’t matter?” Guttfield fired back, Don’t play that bullsh*t with me! What I’m saying is there was no demonization, amplification about that woman before she died. It was a specific crime against her by someone who knew her.”

Angry, the conservative added, “On your side, your beliefs do not match reality, so you’re coming up with these rationalizations. ‘What about this, what about that?’ We are not doing that because we saw it happen. We saw a young bright man assassinated and we know who did it.”
