WATCH: Another Illegal Alien Welfare Fraud Scandal Explodes as Stephen Miller Reveals Half of Detained Illegals Had Been Signed Up for, Receiving Medicaid

Homeland Security adviser Stephen Miller dropped a bombshell during an executive order signing event held on March 16, 2026, when he said that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents discovered that nearly half of the illegal immigrants in the U.S. have been signed up on Medicaid, giving them access to free healthcare on the taxpayer’s dime.

The comment, made during an event featuring President Donald Trump signing an executive order to address fraud within federal programs, was also followed by a controversial, though true, statement from Miller concerning how illegal aliens are responsible for the growing national debt in the U.S. as they continue to receive Medicaid benefits and emergency care at hospitals that go unpaid for or are paid for with tax dollars.

“What we found since President Trump came into office is that the Democrats have set up the system to funnel hundreds of billions, and ultimately trillions of dollars, to migrants,” Miller said at the event. He then said that ICE agents asked a group of detained illegal migrants if they were on Medicaid and “half of them raised their and volunteered they were on Medicaid.”

According to a report from AOL, Miller revealed that the group that didn’t raise their hands said that they still go to hospitals when necessary because “they get free care there, and they bill it to the taxpayers.” Miller continued, “I believe, and I know President Trump believes, that when this theft is exposed, we will see that if all of it were stopped, it would be enough to balance the budget.

“The extraction of wealth from American taxpayers to people who don’t belong here is the primary cause of the national debt,” he added. A video clip of Miller’s statement has gone viral on social media platform X and users have strong feelings about what he revealed about illegal aliens on welfare programs. One user said, “Liars. Makes me so mad. Dare you to ask any illegal alien if they have Medicaid.”

The post featured a meme of former President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in clown makeup, with a caption that read, “Democrats being furious ICE is using Medicaid data to arrest illegals after telling everyone illegals don’t get Medicaid benefits.” Another user replied to the video asking, “How could anyone with a brain cell possibly support anything remotely related to illegal migration? Here is a news flash: It’s a CRIME, folks!”

The post continued, “Seriously, to all the Liberals and Democrats: I have questions for you. Where or when do you draw the line? How many people are going to be enough for you? People from all over the globe are flooding into the country every single day in real-time, and the numbers are staggering. In your ‘morally superior’ logic, we should accommodate all of them, treating them ‘equally’ by providing jobs, benefits, and other perks that even most hardworking, tax-paying Americans don’t enjoy.”

The same user pointed out that a country cannot sustain an unlimited number of illegal immigrants, especially since they aren’t vetted. “You cannot sustain an unlimited influx of unvetted individuals. And most importantly, how are you going to support them? Are you going to pay for it yourself, or are you going to take them into your own home? What’s the plan? I really want to know!”
