New Coalition Forms to Pressure President Trump to Ramp Up Deportations Even Further

A new coalition has formed, made up of longtime allies of President Donald Trump, including groups that advocated for strict immigration policies and conservative policy experts, to press the current administration to ramp up current deportation efforts against illegal aliens in the United States. The organization, called the Mass Deportation Coalition, revealed that it plans to lobby the administration to make the deportation of all illegal migrants who are eligible to be booted from the country to be a top priority.

The MDC made the case that immigration enforcement needs to be significantly expanded in order to address the massive number of unlawful entries and overstays impacting the country. The White House recently told Republicans to say that the focus is currently on deporting hardened criminals, but the MDC says all illegal aliens, not just the ones with a rap sheet, need to be booted as soon as possible.

Important figures who make up the coalition include former acting commissioner of Customs and Border Protection Mark Morgan, former Blackwater CEO Erik Prince, and conservative think tanks like the Heritage Foundation. The group commissioned a poll to support its theory that deporting more illegal migrants means a higher chance of winning elections during the midterms in November.

According to Newsmax, the survey, which was conducted by polling group McLaughlin & Associates, discovered that 66% of likely 2026 voters support deporting any migrants who come into the country illegally. A total of 58% said they back deporting all deportable migrants, not just the ones who are violent criminals.

“Overwhelmingly, Trump voters expect this from the administration. They don’t just support it — they expect it,” Chris Chmielenski, president of the conservative Immigration Accountability Project, said in an interview with Politico. “This is a good way to reenergize the base as we move into the midterms, the same way that Trump was able to do so in the lead-up to the 2024 general election.”

The Newsmax report pointed out that immigration has been one of the foundational pillars of President Trump’s platform and noted that it played a critical role in his 2024 presidential campaign. It went on to say that during the president’s first year back in the Oval Office, the White House made big changes in immigration enforcement and flooded billions of dollars into agencies that have been tasked with carrying out his agenda.

It’s also being reported that White House deputy chief of staff James Blair told House Republicans they need to stop rhetoric about mass deportations and focus primarily on booting violent criminals. However, that report has since been disputed by the Trump administration. “President Trump’s highest priority has always been the deportation of illegal alien criminals who endanger American communities,” White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson went on to say in a statement. “Nobody is changing the Administration’s immigration enforcement agenda.”

The statement also said, “As the Department of Homeland Security has repeatedly said, approximately 70 percent of deportations to date have been illegal aliens with criminal records. Thanks to President Trump’s strong immigration enforcement policies, approximately 3 million illegals have left the United States, either through forced deportation or self-deportation, with zero illegals coming through the most secure border in U.S. history for nine straight months.”
