“Wants Amnesty and Will Betray Us”: MAGA Unites Behind Calling on Trump to Deep Six RINO Senator, Openly Support His MAGA Challenger

Republicans and MAGA conservatives are joining forces to call on President Donald Trump not to endorse current GOP Sen. John Cornyn for senator, but to instead back his biggest threat, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, referring to the former as a Republican In Name Only who they feel isn’t trustworthy and will ultimately prove to be in league with the establishment and fight against the America First agenda.

One of the reasons conservatives are concerned there’s a possibility that Trump might end up backing Cornyn is due to a post the president published on Truth Social. In the post, he wrote, “The Republican Primary Race for the United States Senate in the Great State of Texas, a State I LOVE and won 3 times in Record Numbers (the HIGHEST vote ever recorded, by far!!!), cannot, for the good of the Party, and our Country, itself, be allowed to go on. IT MUST STOP NOW!”

President Trump then said that the Democratic challenger, Rep. James Talarico, is an “easy to beat, Radical Left Opponent” and that the GOP needs to “TOTALLY FOCUS on putting him away, quickly and decisively!” He then dropped the hammer a little on both Cornyn and Paxton, saying they ran a good race, but not quite good enough.

And here’s the part conservatives say worries them. “Now, this one, must be PERFECT! My Endorsements within the Republican Party have been virtually insurmountable! It is such an honor to realize and say that almost everyone I Endorse WINS, and wins by a lot, especially in Texas! I will be making my Endorsement soon, and will be asking the candidate that I don’t Endorse to immediately DROP OUT OF THE RACE!”

President Trump then asks his followers if that sounds fair, before going on to remind them that victory in November isn’t simply an option on the table, but must happen. He then signed the post in his usual fashion, writing, “Thank you for your attention to this matter.” One user on X wrote that, regardless of whether President Trump endorses Cornyn, he will not get their vote.

“I do not GAF who Trump endorses! I will never vote for Cornyn. He’s been a s**t stain on Texas like Abbott!” Another commenter agreed, saying they also would not vote for Cornyn. “Exactly! Many — like myself — will NOT vote for Cornyn, even with a Trump endorsement.” A third wasn’t so hip on Trump’s proclamations concerning his endorsements.

“Trump’s legacy is more power in the hands of swamp creatures in a Congress than before he started. The tea party could’ve morphed into the MAGA takeover yet we got Jon Thune, John Cornyn, Mike Johnson, and more Lindsey Graham, not less,” the user wrote on X. A commenter pointed out that MAGA will be angry if Trump supports Cornyn, but noted that Republicans think for themselves, despite who gets the endorsement.

“If he does we will all be angry, but unlike democrats people on our side think for themselves . His endorsement can boost a good candidate but it will never get someone to vote for Cornyn over Paxton . So Paxton should stay in no matter what . The establishment going so hard for Cornyn should be the red flag for Trump . Unfortunately he still gets it wrong sometimes,” the person said.
