On Tucker Carlson’s show, a guest played a clip from The Free Press interview where Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) erupted in profanity when asked about banning congressional stock trading. Crenshaw claimed his holdings were minimal, around $20,000, denied insider trading accusations, sarcastically supported a ban, and compared restrictions to crippling law enforcement.
The guest accused Crenshaw of outperforming the market despite having no financial background, highlighting a Meta (Facebook) purchase timed before he publicly pushed for banning TikTok, then voted against the ban, allegedly making ~200% gains on the stock.
In any case, the segment began with Tucker Carlson asking his guest, “Tell us about my all-time favorite member of Congress, Dan Crenshaw.” Tucker’s guest asked, “Did you see the Free Press?” and then began playing a clip.
The video began with a journalist asking Crenshaw a question. “Would you vote for a ban on Congress members trading stocks? You know, money?” the reporter honestly asked. The RINO immediately flew off the handle with a profane rant.
“How much f**king money have I ever had in the stock market? About $20,000 and I’ve been dragged through the mud on this as if, like, there’s some insider trading. So sure, yeah, why not? Don’t let us trade stocks,” the Congressman raved.
Rounding out his absurd comments, Crenwsha alleged, “About, how about, how about just, we’ll just keep whipping ourselves. How about we don’t make any money either? What are you talking about? That’s like saying it pays if you don’t allow the police to shake down speeders at gunpoint, you’re gonna get a worse kind of cop.”
Adding more context, the guest on Tucker’s show added, “He outperformed the market. He was right below Pelosi.” Tucker interjected, “He’s an idiot though. I mean, with no business background that I’m aware of. So like, how would you do that?”

“The one that in particular, that really frustrated me about him was meta, which he’s crushing it up like 200% he bought the dip perfectly,” the guest answered, “He buys the stock. A couple months later, starts pushing and publicly vocalizing like, Hey, everyone, we should, we should ban Tiktok. You know,he then goes off and votes against the bill to ban Tiktok.”
Laying out the case, he added, “So now you got a politician that is buying TikTok’s main competitor, meta, you’re then publicly talking about how you want to ban it from government officials phones to then voting on the bill to ban Tiktok all while the stock has gone up 200%”
Discouraged, one commentator said, “Crenshaw has fallen so far. He had great potential, but the Swamp sucked him in almost immediately.” Agreeing, another noted, “That is probably why he is so mad at Tucker. When your exposed they cry the loudest.”
“Everyone is getting exposed. But nobody is getting arrested. That’s why they keep doing it,” a comment read. I love how they expose the. gogantic pathetic fraud that is @DanCrenshawTX, who is one of the worst phonies and RINOs in the history of politics,” another irritated conservative stated.
