In the latest round of Democrat insanity, James Talarico, the radical Democratic Party primary winner for the US Senate, has received the endorsement of soon-to-be former Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), who lost to him in the primary race and initially cried “foul play”, but then got in line in support of him.
Talarico has a long history of radical takes to his name. For example, in 2023, after the Supreme Court of the United States struck down Roe v. Wade, he called on President Joe Biden to make available federal buildings in red states to provide abortions.
He did so in a letter in which he said, “Decades of jurisprudence and majorities of Americans have repeatedly affirmed the constitutional right to an abortion. Yet an anti-choice minority has taken advantage of the undemocratic loopholes in our political system to impose their radical program on our country.”
He continued, “This minority is threatening our most basic rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Leaders at all levels must use every tool in the toolbox to protect our freedoms. We must take extraordinary steps to counter this extraordinary subversion of the public will. On behalf of my constituents, I urge you and your administration to consider taking the following executive actions to protect the right to an abortion: • Leasing federal property to abortion clinics on federal lands or in federal offices • Prohibiting states from imposing restrictions on abortion medication through the Food and Drug Administration • Hiring abortion providers as federal employees to provide immunity from state lawsuits.”
He concluded, ” The General Services Administration manages more than 800 federally owned or leased buildings in Texas alone. Just repurposing a small fraction of those spaces can provide critical life-saving care to people across my state. We must act. Women in states like mine will die if we do not.”
Posting that absurd letter on X, he said, seemingly referencing Mitch McConnell keeping Merrick Garland off the court, “Republicans stole the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court stole our rights. We can’t just stand by and watch. I’m calling on @JoeBiden to use federal buildings to provide abortion care to women in red states.”
In any case, Jasmine Crockett has decided to support him, despite initially having freaked out and declared that the election had been stolen, saying, “Knowing that Dallas County is a big dump of votes, we, in my opinion, will not know the election results overall tonight. So, that’s my news, is that we’re not going to have election results tonight, in my opinion, based upon what specifically is taking place in Dallas County.” She added, “Unfortunately, this is what Republicans like to do. And, so, they specifically targeted Dallas County, and I think we all know why.” She further doubled down, “I can tell you now that people have been disenfranchised. In my opinion, we will not know the election results overall tonight. They specifically targeted Dallas County, and I think we all know why.”

Yet, just hours after that, she came around to Talarico. According to Politico senior national politics correspondent Adam Wren, Crockett stated, “This morning I called James and congratulated him on becoming the Senate nominee. Texas is primed to turn blue and we must remain united because this is bigger than any one person. This is about the future of all 30 million Texans and getting America back on track. With the primary behind us, Democrats must rally around our nominees and win. I’m committed to doing my part and will continue working to elect democrats up and down the ballot.”
She added, further supporting Talarico, “The Democratic Party should absolutely prepare for the worst and get some things litigated right now. People will not turn out because of what’s happened, in my opinion, especially if no one fights for their votes to be counted.”
