As his administration, particularly the Department of War, feuds with far-left artificial intelligence company Anthropic over the company’s efforts to stop the United States armed forces from effectively using its product to defend the nation and protect its interests abroad, President Donald Trump sounded off and showed how the company’s leftism-driven intransigence is putting America at risk.
What sparked the fight is that Anthropic told the federal government that it does not want its products used in surveillance efforts or in fully autonomous weapon systems, suggesting as it did so that it is generally against the use of its AI offerings by the Trump administration. The president, rather than negotiating, responded with threats and fury over the presumption of a company telling the government what to do with a service it had purchased.
Beginning his angry post on the matter, the president declared that he will not allow a woke company to dictate terms to the military, saying, “THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WILL NEVER ALLOW A RADICAL LEFT, WOKE COMPANY TO DICTATE HOW OUR GREAT MILITARY FIGHTS AND WINS WARS!” He added, “That decision belongs to YOUR COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF, and the tremendous leaders I appoint to run our Military.”
Building on that, President Trump noted that Anthropic was trying to make demands of the defense establishment, which is absurd, and might even conflict with the Constitution. “The Leftwing nut jobs at Anthropic have made a DISASTROUS MISTAKE trying to STRONG-ARM the Department of War, and force them to obey their Terms of Service instead of our Constitution,” he said.
He added that they are, in so doing, putting the lives of American service members at risk, as American troops won’t have access to tools that are becoming necessary as war becomes ever more technologically advanced. He said, “Their selfishness is putting AMERICAN LIVES at risk, our Troops in danger, and our National Security in JEOPARDY.”
Building on that, he brought out the nuclear option, revealing that not only will the government cease to use Anthropic’s products entirely, but will stop doing business with the company entirely. He said, “Therefore, I am directing EVERY Federal Agency in the United States Government to IMMEDIATELY CEASE all use of Anthropic’s technology.”
Further describing the crackdown he is enforcing to punish Anthropic and ensure it can’t put Americans at risk again, he said, “We don’t need it, we don’t want it, and will not do business with them again! There will be a Six Month phase out period for Agencies like the Department of War who are using Anthropic’s products, at various levels.”

And, adding a threat on top of the already large heap of bad news for the company, President Trump declared, “Anthropic better get their act together, and be helpful during this phase out period, or I will use the Full Power of the Presidency to make them comply, with major civil and criminal consequences to follow.”
Concluding, he vowed that the radical left company would not be allowed to ever again put our national security at risk, saying, “WE will decide the fate of our Country — NOT some out-of-control, Radical Left AI company run by people who have no idea what the real World is all about. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
