Speaking after the House Oversight Committee deposed Hillary Clinton and pressed her on the nature of her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, members of Congress revealed that she had gone utterly berserk during the meeting, even to the point of screaming and going utterly berserk. It was Rep. Nancy Mace who laid into Clinton over her freakout in a post-deposition press conference.
As background, speaking during her opening statement about her relationship with Epstein, Hillary insisted that she had “no idea” that he was up to anything criminal, despite his having been convicted of awful crimes, saying, “I had no idea about their criminal activities. I do not recall ever encountering Mr. Epstein. I never flew on his plane or visited his island home or offices.”
During that same opening statement, she insisted, “[Y]ou have compelled me to testify, fully aware that I have no knowledge that would assist your investigation, in order to distract attention from President [Donald] Trump’s actions and cover them up despite legitimate calls for answers.”
She further claimed, “If this committee is serious about learning the truth about Epstein’s trafficking crimes, it would not rely on press gaggles to get answers from our current president on his involvement; it would ask him directly under oath about the tens of thousands of times he shows up in the Epstein files.”
Apparently, the question part of the day’s events was much more of a disaster for Hillary, as Rep. Nancy Mace revealed when speaking about the situation. Beginning her commentary on what happened, Rep. Mace revealed, “I asked her very pointed questions, and you’ll see that in the transcript and the video that comes out.”
She continued, saying, “And you’ll see how she responded as well — screaming.” Jumping in, reporter Chad Pergram asked what exactly she meant by that, meaning if Hillary was really screaming during the Congressional hearing. He asked, “What do you mean that Hillary Clinton was screaming?”
Responding, Rep. Mace insisted that Hillary had been utterly “unhinged” in her freakout over the whole situation, saying, “She was unhinged. And I hope that President Clinton is less unhinged today than his wife was yesterday. You’ll see it.” Watch her here:

For her part, speaking to the press about what happened after the deposition, Hillary Clinton insisted that she answered all the questions as well as she could, though she didn’t know Epstein that well, saying, “I just finished testifying. I answered every one of their questions as fully as I could…I never met Jeffrey Epstein, never had any connection or communication with him…I knew Ghislaine Maxwell casually, as an acquaintance…”
Former President Bill Clinton, for his part, said that he was testifying because Jeffrey Epstein’s victims “deserve not only justice, but healing.” Continuing, he also claimed to have had no idea that Epstein was up to anything illegal, which is utterly absurd given Epstein’s conviction and repeated high-profile expositions of what he was up to, saying, “I had no idea of the crimes Epstein was committing.”
