With a potential air campaign against the Islamic Republic of Iran back on the horizon, it’s worth remembering what happened last summer when this happened before, namely the spectacle of Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) having a total freakout over Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and President Trump not consulting her first.
As background, the American attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities in the early summer of 2025 was something of a jaw-dropper, as the B-2 bombers that completed the mission did so in a total surprise and quite successfully. Many on right and left were against the mission, not wanting America to get involved abroad, but the operation was nevertheless a major success and demonstration of American martial prowess and technological competence.
What led to the operation being so successful was that it was such a surprise, as the B-2 bombers left the US and arrived in Iran more or less undetected. What helped ensure that occurred is that notoriously loudmouthed members of Congress like Rep. Crockett were not consulted ahead of time and given the opportunity to leak the mission, potentially putting the lives of American servicemembers at risk.
So, during a late-June hearing on the matter, Rep. Crockett rambled and whined about the “efficiency” of the attack, which was efficient in that it was just one bombing raid conducted by a few highly advanced aircraft, as she claimed that it was not “efficient”. She began, “Let me tell you, just dropping those few bombs in one day, that was the beginning of what is going to be a very long bill for us as they talk about being efficient.”
Continuing, the woke and angry congresswoman insisted, bizarrely, that the attack was not efficient because Congress hadn’t first been consulted, as if that was relevant, saying, “There was nothing efficient about doing it — maybe if there was some consultation, maybe with those that, say, have constitutional authority, since we care about the Constitution, then maybe we could have saved the American people not only money.”
The radical, woke representative then kept up her yelling antics, insisting that American lives were at risk, though she provided no details to support that claim, nor did she describe how that was relevant in the context of her point about efficiency. “But the lives that are now at risk as we have to put out warnings for American citizens in this country and abroad,” Crockett said.
Pushing yet another incoherent and disjointed line of commentary about the attack and what was going on with it, Rep. Crockett said, “Maybe we need to start leading with the people at the middle of what it is that is guiding us instead of following one person.”

Concluding, she insisted that Trump supporters are cultists because she hadn’t been consulted before the attack, saying, “The reason that people like me say things like, ‘y’all are in a cult,’ is because somehow people are abdicating their duties and abdicating the very people that put them into office.”
