WATCH: Actor Jamie Kennedy Skewers Woke Celebrities for Being Pro-Illegal Immigration from Posh Resorts, Behind Gates

Actor Jamie Kennedy, most well-known for playing the role of horror film aficionado Randy in the Scream franchise, put anti-ICE celebrities on blast for evangelizing viewers and attendees from the red carpet at the Sundance Film Festival. Kennedy skewered his fellow thespians by urging them to “get on the frontlines” if they actually believe in the recycled talking points they share at award events and festivals.

“If you care, you wouldn’t be in Sundance,” he said during a recent appearance on the Trying Not to Die podcast. “People are protesting ICE, and I understand the situation — but when you have actors from the red carpet of an award show, on there saying all of this stuff about ‘we’re under a fascist regime, we’re an authoritarianism…’ bro.”

“Yo, bro, you’re literally guarded by the most top — it’s insanity, you can’t say you’re under authoritarian rule when you’re literally being authoritarian,” Kennedy went on to say during the podcast hosted by Jack Osbourne and Ryan Drexler. The Malibu’s Most Wanted star then added, “I see all these people from Brentwood and they’re now in Sundance, and they’re like, ‘Oh, this and this and this and this.’ I’m like, ‘You’re in Sundance.’ If you care, you wouldn’t be in Sundance. Get on the frontlines.”

Kennedy continued his shredding of Hollywood celebrity activists by criticizing them for protesting against immigration authorities who are trying to purge the country’s major cities of criminal illegals, saying the system isn’t perfect, but noted he’s not there and he isn’t protesting. “There’s a lot of crazy things happening, but if you’re protesting the people that are trying to, in theory, make the — they’re basically just trying to get rid of the criminals. Is it a perfect system? No, but I’m not there,” the actor said, according to Breitbart.

The Romeo + Juliet actor then stated that there is a specific actor, whom he opted not to name because he wanted to avoid getting “the beef” with the individuals who irked him by their activism, saying, “I just wanted to smack him” and tell him to “shut the f**k up.” Kennedy also reacted to a post on X shared by tabloid publication TMZ that shared a few clips of the interview, doubling down on his previously made remarks.

“It is obviously a many layered difficult situation, but shitting on law enforcement as you are hiding behind law enforcement at a highly secure event, before you then go back to a gated house is highly hypocritical. How is this not clear?” Kennedy said in his response.

Which actor Kennedy was referring to in his rant is unclear; however, there have been a large group of celebrities who have voiced their displeasure over the enforcement of U.S. immigration law. Many of these individuals have taken opportunities during red carpet interviews or on their social media accounts to go on long-winded diatribes, egged on by comments made by Democrat lawmakers. Breitbart used Breaking Bad star Giancarlo Esposito as a prime example.

During an interview, Esposito called for the public to participate in a “revolution” to fight against ICE. The article then points out that Esposito has a current net worth of $4 million and more than likely does not plan to get involved in any protests himself.
