Infamous RINO Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA) announced he will not seek reelection in 2026 after over 25 years in public service, including more than a decade in Congress. In a melodramatic post, he described representing Washington’s Fourth District as “the honor of my life,” expressing only gratitude without reservation or remorse, thanked constituents, bipartisan colleagues, and family.
Despite promises to serve out his term and select a replacement, conservatives were by and large excited to see the supposed Republcian go. Many pointed to his vote to impeach Trump and blasted him for his lack of loyalty.
“I am announcing today that I will not seek reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives. Serving the Fourth District of Washington has been the honor of my life, and this decision comes with no reservations or remorse, only gratitude for the tremendous opportunity to have represented my home state in Congress,” the RINO began in an official document announcing his decision to step down.
Additionaly, Newhouse claimed, “After over 25 years of public service, including more than a decade in the House, I am grateful to the Washingtonians who put their faith in me, as well as the colleagues I have served with on both sides of the aisle.”
“Public service takes many forms. As I look forward to this new chapter and ways I can continue to serve my community and this great Nation, I do so with confidence that there are now qualified and serious people expressing interest in this office,” the career politician added, “Central Washington will have a strong, capable leader to whom I can pass the torch.”
Changing the subject, Newhouse added, “I thank my family for their steadfast love and support which allowed me this opportunity to serve. I am truly humbled by this uniquely American journey that took a farm boy from Sunnyside, Washington clear across the country to represent his friends and neighbors in the ‘other’ Washington.”
Concluding the announcement, the controversial RINO declared, “I will continue to serve my district with energy and enthusiasm until the end of my term. God bless America and God bless the people of the Fourth District of Washington.

When the announcement made its way to social media, conservatives blasted the irritating politician. “We will never forget that you voted to impeach President Trump. Respectfully, good riddance,” one popular response jabbed in the comments on the soon-to-be former Congressman’s post about his retirement.
Clearly angry, one impassioned Trump supporter stated, in a comment on the same post, “Fantastic! Now we only have one slob RINO left to ditch who voted to impeach President Trump on bogus bulls**t. Don’t let the door hit ya in the cowardly, traitorous ass on your way out. I hope you have a miserable rest of your life.”
“History has proven your vote to impeach Trump was stupid and petty, enabling one of the worst frauds in the history of our country. You should never feel one second of pride for your service, because you betrayed America,” another user said, sounding off on the rogue RINO.
