In a hilarious moment that was captured on social media, ICE arrested an illegal immigrant near the house of Boston Mayor Michelle Wu shortly after she signed a document attempting to restrict ICE in her city, totally embarrassing her and proving just how pointless these leftist attempts at restricting ICE really are.
For context, in a hysterical document, Mayor Wu, joined by leaders from Cambridge, Chelsea, Lynn, Newton, and Somerville, signed an executive order to counter ICE immigration raids. The woke officials blamed federal overreach and banned federal operations on city property, among other insane decisions.
In any case, the viral video summarized the events, saying, “The community says the keys were left in the ignition of a car after ICE agents grabbed the driver outside a Family Dollar. These pictures were taken after a nearby business owner said he moved the car out of a lane of traffic on Corinth Street to stop it from getting towed.”
Reacting to the situation, one viral post read, “🚨 EPIC! Boston Mayor Michelle Wu just signed her little “Ban ICE” order to keep them out of the city…And ICE immediately rolls up RIGHT INTO HER NEIGHBORHOOD and arrests an illegal alien!🫳🏼🎤.”
In her initial comments, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu whined, “Boston stands in solidarity with communities across the region to protect our residents amid the attacks of a reckless and dangerous federal administration. Our City will take every action to de-escalate, ensure safety, and protect the people of Boston.”
Likewise, Chelsea City Manager Fidel Maltez claimed, “Chelsea stands with Boston and Mayor Wu in protecting residents through today’s executive order. Over the past year, violent and unconstitutional immigration enforcement has devastated our community.”
“These aggressive tactics have eroded the sense of safety we’ve worked years to build and spread fear among residents. In Chelsea, we will protect all our community members. As a city of immigrants, we will defend every resident’s constitutional right to live free from fear,” the irritating leftist alleged.

Agreeing, Lynn Mayor Jared Nicholson asserted, “Today, we take a stand by banning civil immigration enforcement operations on city property. This action is a necessary response to the challenges our communities have faced. We remain dedicated to fostering a safe, democratic environment where the rights and dignity of every resident are protected, regardless of their status.”
“America’s cities and towns deserve to be safe from the federal overreach, chaos, and cruelty unfolding in Minneapolis, and all of us deserve to have our rights protected and the rule of law upheld,” stated Somerville Mayor Jake Wilson.
He added, “It’s clearly up to Congress, states, and local officials to pursue all lawful means to ensure that Minneapolis does not become a nightmarish harbinger for the nation as a whole. I want to thank Mayor Wu for galvanizing our region to uphold the law and support public safety.”
Rounding out the document, Cambridge City Manager Yi-An Huang went on a bizarre rant. “Cambridge holds a deep responsibility to protect our residents and uphold the values that define us. The federal tactics we have seen around the country have created fear, mistrust, and real risks to public safety,” the manager stated.
