Trump Scores Key Judicial Win as Judge Shuts Down Blue State’s Attempt to Stop ICE with Lawfare

In a significant win for the nation, a federal judge denied Minnesota’s request for an injunction to stop ICE’s Metro Surge operation, which has detained thousands and sparked nationwide protests. The state cynically argued that it violated sovereignty, but Judge Katherine Menendez ruled that the harms did not favor halting it and deferred final judgment.

In a separate ruling, Judge Fred Biery ordered the release of a detained 5-year-old asylum-seeking boy and his father, blasting the government’s “ill-conceived” quota-driven tactics for traumatizing children and ignoring constitutional rights in a political screed.

The reasonable judge added, “Quantitatively, Plaintiffs cannot point to what number of federal officers would demonstrate a de facto Tenth Amendment anticommandeering violation. Qualitatively, there is no clear way for the Court to determine at what point Defendants’ alleged unlawful actions…becomes so problematic that they amount to unconstitutional coercion and an infringement on Minnesota’s state sovereignty.”

Continuing with the scorcher of a ruling, US District Judge Katherine Menendez totally embarrassed the state of Minnesota, saying, “Ultimately, the Court finds that the balance of harms does not decisively favor an injunction,” wrecking the woke left and Democratic leadership’s efforts to stop ICE.

Freaking out about the ruling in an entirely predictable reaction, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison said, “This case is in its infancy and there is much legal road in front of us, We know that these 3,000 immigration agents are here to intimidate Minnesota and bend the state to the federal government’s will.”

“That is unconstitutional under the Tenth Amendment and the principle of equal sovereignty,” he whined, “We’re not letting up in defending our state’s constitutional powers.” Likewise, controversial Democratic Governor Tim Walz issued his own hysterical remarks.

“This federal occupation of Minnesota long ago stopped being a matter of immigration enforcement,” he alleged, adding, “It’s a campaign of organized brutality against the people of our state…And today, that campaign claimed another life. I’ve seen the videos from several angles.”

Melting down about the second case, US District Judge Fred Biery claimed, “The case has its genesis in the ill-conceived and incompetently-implemented government pursuit of daily deportation quotas, apparently even if it requires traumatizing children.”

Describing what the plaintiffs seek in this case, Biery alleged that they “Seek nothing more than some modicum of the process and the rule of law.”  He also criticised the supposed “Ignorance” of the government’s apparent stance.

“Enumerated grievances against a would-be authoritarian king over our nascent nation,” the woke US District Judge said, citing the Declaration of Independence and mentioning “Unreasonable searches and seizures.” Likewise, Hamline University politics and legal studies professor David Schultz blamed the government for“Trying to force or coerce the state into doing certain things.”  He also characterized AG Pam Bondi as saying, “Well, if you want the ICE operations to stop, we want you to do this, this, and this.”

Freaking out on similar terms, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey attacked the Trump administration. “This decision doesn’t change what people here have lived through — fear, disruption, and harm caused by a federal operation that never belonged in Minneapolis in the first place,” he claimed.
