In a hilarious video from Minneapolis, ICE agents can be seen drinking and taunting a crowd of protestors surrounding their hotel. The event came after weeks of violent riots, just as the local police department was let off the leash and allowed to break up these violent protests.
For context, local leaders, such as Governor Tim Walz and Mayor Jacob Frey, initially vowed to keep police officers under their control from assisting ICE agents. After a hardline conversation with President Trump, the Democrats relented on their absurd position.
For example, Frey whined, “Minneapolis will continue to cooperate with state and federal law enforcement on real criminal investigations — but we will not participate in unconstitutional arrests of our neighbors or enforce federal immigration law.”
However, Trump outplayed these cynical politicians. “President Trump spoke with Governor Walz directly this morning and outlined a clear and simple path to restoring law and order in Minnesota,” Karoline Leavitt explained on the president’s behalf.
Demanding a significant change, she posted, “Local police must assist federal law enforcement in apprehending and detaining illegal aliens wanted for crimes. ICE and local law enforcement can peacefully work together, as they are effectively doing in so many other states and jurisdictions, to remove violent criminals from American neighborhoods.”
In any case, a viral post which featured the video stated, “🚨BREAKING: ICE Agents are currently going viral for DRINKING BEER and watching anti-ICE rioters from a high-up window of a Minnesota hotel. This is amazing!😂🔥 We the People stand with ICE!”
Reacting to the clip, one user joked, “I hope they expensed the booze. It would be one of the few things I support the use of my taxpayer dollars for.” Another added, “As someone with months of sobriety under my belt, I can enjoy watching these men drink.”

Building on this point, another added, “It’s heck of a lot warmer up there than it is on the street! Way to troll them ICE! Keep up the awesome work!” Likewise, one comment read, “Just like everyone else, they are allowed to drink on their time off. After dealing with leftist tards all day, I’m sure they need a few beers.”
One conservative joked, “ICE agents are enjoying their beer while the crazy blue hair nose ring bunch are outside freezing just because the democrats made them do it!!!” Another stated, “These agitators are hired to fire up a bunch of people who have nothing better to do – and actually might get a paycheck for their trouble. I’m sure they have their marching orders. This isn’t spontaneous. It’s arranged.”

However, some progressives disagreed. “Oh, how nice… they’re warm & cozy with a cold one on their hand. Aren’t you glad your tax dollars are going to this 🤗? If you voted for this then congratulations, you played yourself 👍🏼😄,” a bitter post read.
