Justin Mesael Novoa, 21, from Columbus, Ohio, is facing significant federal charges for making threatening interstate communications, including threats to assault or murder federal ICE officers. HSI identified posts on X urging his supporters to “blast every ice agent,” and another expressing eagerness to “shoot these p—y ice agents and r——d maga maggots.”
A December 2025 search of his home yielded two rifles, two shotguns, one handgun, ammunition, helmets, and body armor, plus a pro-Palestinian flag. According to U.S. Attorney Dominick S. Gerace II and ICE HSI, he faces up to 10 years if convicted on the most serious count.
Breaking down the situation, one social media post said, “🚨 DOMESTIC TERRORIST ARRESTED. 🚨Justin Mesael Novoa was just picked up in Ohio for threatening to murder ICE agents. He had the guns, the ammo, the armor, and—surprise, surprise—the Palestinian flag on his wall. The radical Left is out for blood, but the Trump administration is fighting back. Law and order is here to stay!”
Reacting to the situation, the prosecutor in charge of the case noted, “Threatening to kill a federal officer carries a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison, while making threatening interstate communications may result in up to five years in prison.”
Braeking down the situtaion in a viral post which gathered over 52,000 likes, Libs of TikTok posted, “Justin Novoa was just arrested in Columbus, Ohio for threatening to kiII ICE agents. He allegedly wrote on X “cant wait to shoot these p***y ice agents and retarded maga maggots.” Police discovered body armor, guns, and ammo when executing a search warrant. He can face up to 10 years in prison.”

Agreeing, another added, “Can someone explain to me how committing wire fraud is up to a 20-year sentence, and doing what this guy did below is only up to 10 years. It seems that they are trying to deter certain crimes more than others.”
