WATCH: Trump Goes Nuclear Sounding Off on Don Lemon

Speaking during the same White House press event on Tuesday in which he went scorched earth on “crooked” Ilhan Omar, President Donald Trump sounded off on former CNN personality and current podcaster Don Lemon for storming a church service and harassing the churchgoers in Minnesota on Sunday, January 18.

For reference, the church storming incident came when Lemon and a crowd of other leftists became convinced that a church employee was also working with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to find and deport illegal aliens in the area. Specifically, the leftist mob claimed that the church’s pastor, David Easterwood, is the Field Office Director of ICE in the area. In response to those claims, Lemon and others stormed the church, an evangelical one called Cities Church.

Commenting on the matter, President Trump hammered Lemon and others for harassing and attacking the ICE agents who are heroes and putting in a great deal of very hard work to save America, saying, “They’re patriots and they have to be abused by guys like Don Lemon, who’s a, you know… loser, lightweight.”

Adding to that, the president praised the pastor for remaining calm and professional in the face of leftist harassment and aggression, saying, “I saw him the way he walked in that church. It was terrible. I have such respect for that pastor. He was so calm. He was so nice. He was just accosted. What they did in that church was horrible yesterday. Look at it here.”

Then, after rolling footage of the leftists in the mob storming the church and harassing the churchgoers, the president again hammered the mob for what it did, pointing to the footage and saying, “What they did in that church was horrible. That pastor showed incredible restraint.” Watch him here:

AG Bondi, commenting on the incident and threatening Lemon, said, “I just spoke to the Pastor in Minnesota whose church was targeted. Attacks against law enforcement and the intimidation of Christians are being met with the full force of federal law. If state leaders refuse to act responsibly to prevent lawlessness, this Department of Justice will remain mobilized to prosecute federal crimes and ensure that the rule of law prevails.”

Don Lemon, freaking out in a statement that came in response to a warning from the Trump Administration that he will be arrested, snapped, “It’s notable that I’ve been cast as the face of a protest I was covering as a journalist — especially since I wasn’t the only reporter there. That framing is telling.”

Continuing in the ridiculous statement, Lemon added, framing himself as the victim for facing criticism for storming a church, “What’s even more telling is the barrage of violent threats, along with homophobic and racist slurs, directed at me online by MAGA supporters and amplified by parts of the right-wing press.”

He added that all he was doing was “reporting,” saying, “If this much time and energy is going to be spent manufacturing outrage, it would be far better used investigating the tragic death of Renee Nicole Good— the very issue that brought people into the streets in the first place. I stand by my reporting.”
