WATCH: Woke, Purple-Haired Congresswoman Goes Ballistic Over ICE Funding Rumors

Agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are putting in the hard work necessary to reclaim America from the illegal immigrants, carrying out massive raids to detain and deport huge numbers of people who have illegally entered America in past years, and Democrats are, as could be expected, going ballistic.

Amongst those who has been losing it is Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT), famous mainly for being quite far to the left, her purple hair, and for going ballistic on the floor of Congress in past incidents. She lost it in a video posted to X after a report on the platform claimed that she does not support cutting ICE funding; responding in a video, she angrily attacked the report and claimed she doesn’t support increasing ICE funding.

It began with a post from the “NewsWire” X account, which primarily posts breaking news and routinely goes viral on the platform for news updates. The account claimed, including a picture of the purple-haired congresswoman, “Top House Democratic appropriator Rosa Delauro will not commit to reducing ICE funding”.

Rep. DeLauro angrily responded to the viral rumor in a quote tweet with a video attached in which she snapped that she does not support increasing funding for ICE. Captioning the video in the quote tweet, she said, “I will repeat myself — I do not support an increase in funding for ICE.”

Beginning, the angry representative furiously insisted that the report on her views was “bad faith reporting” and that she is strongly against increasing ICE funding. She said, “There has been some bad faith reporting on Twitter, and I am going to set the record straight. I do not support an increase in ICE funding.”

Continuing, the angry, purple-haired member of Congress said that she wanted to reiterate just how against increasing ICE funding she is, insisting, “Can I repeat that? I do not support increasing funding for ICE.” She then went on to try and burnish her anti-ICE credentials, failing to note what her stance is on cutting ICE funding as she did so.

Then, rambling about the Big, Beautiful Bill as a way of trying to show how anti-ICE she is, noting as she did so that she is trying to attack Homeland Security’s funding to attack ICE as well, she said, “I am looking for policy riders in the Homeland Security bill to be able to rein in ICE. President Trump provided $75 billion for ICE in the One Big, Beautiful Bill. I voted against this bill.”

Still not done, she accused the brave ICE agents who fight every day to keep America safe from invaders of “terrorizing” communities in America, attacking them for wearing identity-protecting masks as she did so. She snapped, “ICE is terrorizing our communities, and I’ve called on masked, armed ICE agents to leave our towns, go away.”

Concluding, the angry representative accused Trump of being “lawless” in how he is fighting for law and order, adding, “Make no mistake, I’m fighting for you, and I opposed to the actions of this continuous, lawless Trump administration.”
