Additionally, some pointed to an amusing moment in which Barron went to hug his mother, only for the president to step in and embrace his wife. Overall, the vast majority of comments expressed support for the Trumps and the MAGA movement,
Posting a clip of the incident, a viral post on social media read, “Melania hugs and kisses President Trump as the clock strikes midnight. Barron looks on with a smile. Very wholesome.” In the comments under this post, conservatives gave their reactions.
Pointing out the sweet moment and pointing to the president’s son in the background, one woman wrote, “Awe. As we reported in the American Tribune, as the presidential couple entered the event, Trump joked with a reporter about his New Year’s resolution. “Mr. President, do you have a New Year’s resolution?” a reporter asked to begin the viral clip.
Responding, the President said, “Peace. Peace on Earth.” Later in the evening, he spoke on massive allegations of fraud in Democratic-run states. “Can you imagine, they stole $18 billion… That’s just what we’re learning about,” he exclaimed.
Wrapping up his remarks, Trump noted, “California’s worse. Illinois is worse, and sadly, Nemo York is worse. A lot of other places. So we’re going to get to the bottom of all of it… Other than that, we’re going to have a great new year. Actually, I view that as a reason for a good new year because we’re going to get to the bottom of [it], we’re going to get that money back. It’s all coming back.”
