RINO Mitch McConnell Slammed as “Absolute Disgrace” by Conservative Calling for “Career Politicians” to Be “Thrown Out of Office”

Speaking to Breitbart News during the Turning Point USA AmericaFest event in Phoenix, AZ, Kentucky Republican U.S. Senate candidate Nate Morris sounded off on the soon-to-be outgoing US Senator Mitch McConnell, saying that Establishment career politicians like McConnell is a politician who “epitomizes the worst of government”. Morris demanded that career politicians be “thrown out of office.”

As background, McConnell announced in early 2025 that he would be retiring when he term was up in 2026 rather than trying to run for his Senate seat yet again. Given his hostility to President Trump and the MAGA agenda, many were excited to see him prepare to go, though still thought he had stuck around for far too long.

Commenting on the matter, Morris sounded off on McConnell as being an “absolute disgrace” for the way he has repeatedly frozen and had episodes during public events, making the public question whether the Senate is even competent and able to do its job, saying, “I can’t speak for him, but what I will tell you — it’s an absolute disgrace. If something like that happened in the private sector, they’d make you retire. And remember, during the 2024 election, even in the 2020 election, we were criticizing Joe Biden for the exact same thing.”

Continuing, he added that the McConnell team had attacked and harassed him for noting as much in the past, saying, “When I mentioned this — I mentioned this at our fancy farm picnic back in August — I got all this flack from McConnell’s people.”

Further, the Kentucky businessman and Senate hopeful noted that Biden’s decades in office were a similar mistake and disgrace that has put those who don’t know what is going on in charge. He began, “But you know, it’s the same thing we said about Joe Biden. It’s no different. He’s been in there for over 40 years.”

He continued by noting that Biden’s career in office had begun before the internet had been invented, saying, “I mean, think about that — he came into office before the internet was created. I mean, what do you possibly know about what’s going on in our world today?”

Returning to the matter of the DC Establishment and how awful the hacks in the Swamp are, the Senate hopeful explained, “I just think he epitomizes the worst of government, the worst of Washington, DC, the worst of the swamp, and why career politicians have got to be thrown out of office, and why we need outsiders and business people.”

Further, Morris noted just how “rich [McConnell] got while he was in office,” noting that McConnell had come into office as a nearly penniless adult, and left with a vast fortune, suggesting corruption could have been at play. Making that insinuation, Morris said, “You know, he reports over $100 million — this is a guy who didn’t have two nickels to rub together when he came into government, and so I think that’s exactly what’s wrong with our system.”
