On March 16, 2025, a virulent anti-Trump account, known by the handle MAGALieTracker, shared a Fox News Sunday clip from host Shannon Bream questioning President Trump’s March 11, 2025, White House Tesla purchase with Elon Musk amid market volatility from tariffs, labeling it as potentially insensitive.
Despite the fact that a guest defended it as promoting U.S. products. The social media post framed it as a “slam” for turning the White House into a “Tesla dealership.” Conservatives rallied behind Trump’s message and blasted the user for their biased coverage of the incident.
In any case, the clip began with the Fox News host saying, “In the White House, where he surveyed some cars. It was happening as Americans’ 401K accounts were facing some struggles because of the tariff war happening right now.”
Continuing his objections, the RINO asked more politically motivated questions. She snapped, ridiculously, particularly given the great performance of Tesla stock since then, “Was that an appropriate thing for the President to do there? Was it sensitive to the moment that we are in, buying a car, using the White House as a backdrop for that?”
Responding, a guest on the program blasted this biased coverage: “Well, first of all, he’s promoting American-made products. I applaud him for doing that. He’s not the first president to do that. Most presidents have done something like it in the past. Joe Biden did in his term.”

Responding to the clip, a biased and TDS-afflicted liberal account claimed, “BREAKING: A FOX News host just SLAMMED Trump for his unethical and tone deaf use of the White House as a Tesla dealership while the stock market was in free fall. You have to watch this.”
In the comments under this post, conservatives rallied behind Trump and his support for American manufacturing. “It seems you’re just starting to realize that conservatives don’t march in lockstep like the leftist lunatics. Nope, we have differing opinions. I know this is confusing to lemmings like you. I also have taken issue with things Trump has done. I still support him, however,” one account fired back.
Continuing the backlash, another conservative added, “But Biden doing it was classier, right? Lol I say that because he literally did the same thing. Don’t be so biased. It makes you look stupid…” Agreeing, another added, “Biden did it. Just to do it. Elon has been targeted, and trump wanted to help an American business that’s owner is basically taking a few for the team. I hope all of them spend loads of time in prison. There’s no reason to burn a business because you disagree politically.”
Annoyed by the double standard, one response quipped, “Yet when Joe Biden did it, even taking a slow lap in a Jeep , an event Tesla was intentionally left out of due to political reasons , no one had an issue with it .” Buildiong o nthis point, one insightful comment added, “Biden did it with a FOREIGN owned auto maker and democrats cheered.
