Greg Kelly blasted Fox News for an hour of Trump-bashing during their so-called “Patriot Awards,” likening it to CNN and accusing them of eagerly fueling “MAGA breakup” narratives and speculation about “what’s the president hiding.”

Echoing his sentiments, commenters on X joined in and decried Bret Baier’s “TDS” and Fox’s anti-Trump views. Disgusted by the treachery, conservatives took to social media to express their anger in dozens of ascerbic comments, which poked fun at Fox News.

Leading the charge was Newsmax host Greg Kelly, who said, “Forget those FOX NEWS FAKERS and their ridiculous “Patriot Awards” —just sat through an HOUR of Trump Bashing worthy of CNN. Gleefully talking about “MAGA breakup” and “what’s the president hiding” —they’re isnt an Anti-Trump Bandwagon they don’t Jump on.”

Similarly, another popular tweet read, “Forget those FOX NEWS FAKERS and their ridiculous “Patriot Awards” —just sat through an HOUR of Trump Bashing worthy of CNN. Gleefully talking about “MAGA breakup” and “what’s the president hiding” —they’re isnt an Anti-Trump Bandwagon they don’t Jump on.”

Explaining the situation, one user objected, “They are pretending to be cool with trump for access and ratings. Fox News was anti trump when Biden was president all the way up to trumps nomination. They picked desantis and Nikki Hayley over trump in the primaries.”

Some critics mocked the out-of-touch RINOS hosting the awards. “Is there anything more absurd than Pawn Vanity hosting ‘Patriot Awards’ for Fox News? Pawn Vanity wanted Trump to pardon HUNTER BIDEN in 2021 before Trump left office. Fox News is the home of the uniparty traitors,” a tweet asked.

Picking apart the bias, one user noted, “They had a whole section ridiculing Trump that seemed bitter and angry. They accused him of lawfare (of course no recognition of Democrat lawfare against him) and peddling fake news (of course no recognition of Russia, ‘bleach’ or ‘fine people’ hoaxes).”

However, despite the ire of the event’s hosts, many users expressed satisfaction with First Lady Melania Trump’s award acceptance speech. As we reported at the American Tribune, she accepted the “Patriot of the Year” award at the seventh annual Fox Nation Patriot Awards in New York, where she spoke on American innovation, ambition, and compassion, earning a standing ovation from the audience.

Melania began her remarks by highlighting American exceptionalism. “I applaud American Dreamers and Innovators who embrace originality. Let’s embrace the spirit of ambition. Let’s celebrate everyone who dares to think differently, for it is these courageous Americans who are the heartbeat of our civilization.”

    Watch Melania here:

Connecting these comments to American culture, she continued. Melania added, “Daring to chase your dream is the American way. Innovation isn’t accidental here – it’s in our DNA. In this country, innovation is a form of patriotism. But most innovators know – it’s lonely when you are close to the edge of imagination – when you have a deep belief in your own power to create new realities. This is exactly where real change begins.”

Concluding her comments, Melania addressed the crowd directly. “So America, tonight, let’s make a personal pledge to celebrate ambition and scale imagination to create a more advanced and prosperous society. Individual productivity is not selfish. It’s the heartbeat of civilization,” the first lady confidently declared. The speech was greeted by a standing ovation from the crowd.
