Longtime ally and former adviser to President Donald Trump, Roger Stone, sat down for an interview where he stated that the commander-in-chief officially broke ties with deceased human trafficker and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein long before he was exposed for his crimes in Florida. Stone then said this sets Trump apart from a number of big shots within the Democratic Party.
Stone, who served as a senior adviser during the president’s first campaign in 2016, made an appearance on Newsmax’s “Finnerty” program to defend Trump as he’s being dragged once again for his former connections to the infamous billionaire. Stone was a relevant guest to discuss the Epstein subject because he, back in 2015, wrote a book called The Clintons’ War on Women. In the seventh chapter of the book, he discusses Epstein and his crimes at length.
“Well, I think I’m particularly well situated to address this because I am the first American author to write extensively about Jeffrey Epstein,” Stone said during the interview, making a reference to his book. “The longest chapter in the book, chapter seven, ‘Orgy Island,’ covers this entire matter.”
Trump’s former adviser then contrasted how the president responded to the revelation of Epstein’s sexually deviant crimes with that from former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Trump cut ties with Epstein while the Clintons continued to have a relationship with him well after the legal troubles started.
“They took a $25,000 contribution from him after he was indicted,” Stone revealed. “But before he was convicted or pled guilty in Florida. This smear that Donald Trump has something to hide is a ruse,” he continued. Stone then acknowledged that Trump flew on Epstein’s private plane, but noted that his then-wife, Marla Maples, and daughter Tiffany, were also on board. He said the trip was brief and innocent in nature.
“Yes, we know that Trump was on Epstein’s plane … going from New York to Palm Beach, back to New York on a weekend,” he stated clearly during the interview. Stone then warned Democrats to proceed with caution in raising up this issue, as a number of individuals within their party have not-so-innocent connections with the dead billionaire.
“People partying on the island include U.S. Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell of Maine, Democrat, and former governor of New Mexico Bill Richardson, Democrat. Bill Clinton is on the island at least three times. He’s on the plane, the Lolita Express, at least 26 times, one time with Kevin Spacey,” he said. Spacey has faced numerous allegations of sexual misconduct since 2017.

Stone was then asked why a memo from the Justice Department related to Epstein was leaked to a left-leaning media outlet over the Fourth of July weekend, to which he responded, “I have no answer for that. I cannot tell you. It’s a little perplexing.” He then encouraged Attorney General Pam Bondi to take action.
“Pam Bondi or the president should direct his attorney general … to move in court immediately to unseal the 2019 indictment of Jeffrey Epstein by the Trump Justice Department,” Stone explained. “He [Epstein] was charged … based on a whistleblower. I think they should also move to unseal the search warrants for his place in New York, plus the island.”

According to WJBC, later in the interview, Stone was asked if Bondi’s role was somehow connected to alleged secret ties between the president and Epstein. “No. Absolutely not. Trump was never on his island. Trump was never at his Paris apartment or his New York home.”
Stone then brought up testimony delivered by now-deceased Epstein victim, Virginia Giuffre to support his statement. “She said it was a charitable function. Trump was there for 15 minutes. He was a perfect gentlemen,” Stone stated. He then added, “There’s nothing to hide here.”
