Democrats have now been trying to use the Epstein files as a bludgeon against the Trump presidency for months, and so he has managed to now turn the tables and use it against them, ordering the Attorney General Pam Bondi-led Department of Justice (DOJ) to launch a full investigation into Epstein’s ties to former President Bill Clinton and the big banks.
Such is what the president did in a post on Truth Social on Friday, November 14, saying that the Democrats have been trying to use the scandal to avert public attention from the utter disaster for them that was their shutdown effort, and so he has directed the DOJ to launch a full investigation into their Epstein ties, naming a number of prominent Democrats and banks that were tied to the infamous financier and human trafficker.
Beginning, the president alleged that the Democrats are trying to use the scandal to divert public attention from their own failures, saying, “[T]he Democrats are using the Epstein Hoax, involving Democrats, not Republicans, to try and deflect from their disastrous SHUTDOWN, and all of their other failures.”
Continuing, he said that, as a result of their refusal to let the matter drop, he will be launching a full investigation into their involvement with Epstein, saying, “I will be asking A.G. Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people and institutions, to determine what was going on with them, and him.”
Concluding the post, he noted that a number of Democrats spent much time with Epstein on his infamous island, and so the DOJ will dig into what was going on. He said, “This is another Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, with all arrows pointing to the Democrats. Records show that these men, and many others, spent large portions of their life with Epstein, and on his “Island.” Stay tuned!!!”
Responding to the directive in a post on X, AG Bondi announced that the DOJ has put one of its best and most trusted prosecutors in charge of the massive operation, and he will work tirelessly to deliver the needed and. much-desired answers on the matter to the American people.
She wrote, in that post, “Thank you, Mr. President. SDNY U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton is one of the most capable and trusted prosecutors in the country, and I’ve asked him to take the lead. As with all matters, the Department will pursue this with urgency and integrity to deliver answers to the American people.”

While representatives to the three named Democrats did not respond to requests for comments from Fox News Digital, Trish Wexler, head of policy and advocacy communications at JPMorgan Chase & Co. released a statement saying, “We regret any association we had with the man but did not help him commit his heinous acts. We ended our relationship with him years before his arrest on sex trafficking charges.”
