Trump Sends Establishment Blue State Judge into Resignation Accompanied by Spiraling Meltdown

President Donald Trump’s attempts to use the federal law enforcement apparatus against Deep State hacks who seemingly broke the law in quite an obvious fashion have provoked a spiralling meltdown from a senior, Establishment-friendly federal judge in the deep blue state of Massachusetts, with the judge resigning over Trump’s efforts.

For reference, the judge at issue is U.S. District Judge Mark L. Wolf, a 78-year-old. He was appointed to the bench by then-President Ronald Reagan in 1985, and has since mainly been one who has ruled as the Establishment would want a judge to rule, rather than as a real conservative. He resigned in protest against what he alleged was the president’s attempt to start “using the law for partisan purposes.”

Such is what he declared in a pearl-clutching, hysteric article for The Atlantic, saying that he has decided to step down because President Trump has launched an alleged “assault on the rule of law” that he finds “so deeply disturbing.” Further, he noted that his stepping down means that President Trump cannot replace him with a nominee of his own, as former President Barack Obama named Judge Indira Talwani way back in 2013.

In his statement issued via The Atlantic, the judge declared that he felt the need to resign so that he could attack President Trump rather than remain non-partisan, declaring, “I no longer can bear to be restrained by what judges can say publicly or do outside the courtroom.”

Continuing, the judge went on to insist that the president is weaponizing the law against his enemies and in favor of his friends, writing, “President Donald Trump is using the law for partisan purposes, targeting his adversaries while sparing his friends and donors from investigation, prosecution, and possible punishment.”

Clutching his pearls and ignoring the sorts of abuses engaged in by types like Biden and Obama, the judge breathlessly declared, “This is contrary to everything that I have stood for in my more than 50 years in the Department of Justice and on the bench. The White House’s assault on the rule of law is so deeply disturbing to me that I feel compelled to speak out. Silence, for me, is now intolerable.”

Then, using leftist and Establishment language regarding equality and democracy to justify his decision to resign, the judge said, “When I accepted the nomination to serve on the U.S. District Court in Massachusetts, I took pride in becoming part of a federal judiciary that works to make our country’s ideal of equal justice under law a reality. A judiciary that helps protect our democracy.”

Adding to that with more such language about vague ideas of corruption and helping minorities, he said, “That has the authority and responsibility to hold elected officials to the limits of the power delegated to them by the people. That strives to ensure that the rights of minority groups, no matter how they are viewed by others, are not violated. That can serve as a check on corruption to prevent public officials from unlawfully enriching themselves. Becoming a federal judge was an ideal opportunity to extend a noble tradition that I had been educated by experience to treasure.”
