WATCH: Cory Booker Melts Down and Storms Out of Hearing after Getting Totally Embarrassed by Conservative Witness

Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) had a full-on toddler meltdown during a hearing on the topic of political violence after Daily Wire host Michael Knowles delivered testimony before the Senate that exposed his hypocrisy on the hugely important issue, which has risen to the fore in the aftermath of the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

What happened was that Knowles called out Booker for endorsing fellow Democrat Jay Jones for Attorney General of Virginia, who Booker claims has the right vision to keep families in the state safe. Booker’s endorsement came despite the fact that Jones has made disturbing comments calling for the murder of a Republican and his children, amongst other unsettling statements.

Booker, like a scolded child, simply could not handle being exposed by Knowles’ facts and stormed out of the room. Knowles, full of class and dignity, finished his testimony, delivering strong points about why you cannot have people involved in any position of law enforcement who engage in violent rhetoric like Jones has in the recent past.

The Daily Wire personality started off his testimony by agreeing with Booker about the need for us as a country to take time to examine ourselves, saying, “You know, I think Senator Booker made a good point just a moment ago when he said, we have to self examine. We have to be introspective.”

He continued his testimony by informing everyone of Booker’s glowing endorsement of Jay Jones and the hypocrisy of referring to him as someone who can protect families and make sure everyone gets their right to a fair trial after making sick comments about Republicans. Knowles said, ” And, you know, I can’t help but think of a line. ‘Today Jay Jones has the vision, commitment and integrity to keep families safe and make sure every Virginian gets a fair shake in the justice system. I’ll be working every day to ensure Jay wins this race.’ That’s the endorsement of Senator Booker for a man who would seek to be the Attorney General of Virginia.”

Knowles then went into greater detail concerning Jones’ comments, telling those in attendance, “This is a man who, if people have not been reading the news, has called for a Republican to be murdered, for his children to be murdered, for the children to die in their mother’s arms, in order to persuade the Republican to change his policy views. And a man who says he would urinate on the graves of multiple Republicans, Senator Booker, in the spirit of introspection, is standing by this endorsement.”

At this point during the hearing, Booker gets up and stormed out of the room, clearly in the throes of a meltdown at someone daring to hold him publicly accountable for speaking out of both sides of his mouth. Knowles, looking up to see Booker leave the room, said, “So I suppose I would invite…perhaps I should have looked because Senator Booker has left the room. And I think I can guess why.”

He added, “Senator Booker, I think should, should, practice what he preaches. Because this is the kind of moment…you cannot have a professor who wants to teach students and is going to desire to kill half of them. You certainly cannot have law enforcement officers who would, who would engage in this kind of violent rhetoric against half of their constituents.”

The conservative commentator concluded by saying, “So long as anyone stands by an endorsement such as that, their words are meaningless. They are shedding crocodile tears on the topic of political violence.”
