In a bizarre meltdown, even by her own standards, failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris went on a bitter rant where she attacked President Trump, who defeated her in the 2024 election, for building a ballroom near the White House during a government shutdown.
For context, these two events are completely unrelated, as President Trump has secured entirely private funding for the construction of the ballroom. Likewise, Democrats have refused again and again to fund the government, holding millions of Americans hostage.
In any case, a viral tweet exposed Harris’ wild comments. “Kamala Harris complains that President Trump is building a ballroom at the White House while SNAP benefits are expiring. He’s literally paying for the ballroom out of pocket, and the benefits are expiring because your party shut the government down,” the caption read.
In her absurd comments, Harris berated former late-night host John Stewart with her inappropriate remarks. “Are you f**king kidding me? This guy wants to create a ballroom for his rich friends while completely turning a blind eye to the fact that that babies are going to starve when the SNAP benefits end in just hours from now.”
Doubling down on her absurd remarks, the entitled Democrat continued her diatribe. “Come on. So what I’m not going to be distracted by? Oh, does the guy have a big fucking hammer? What about those babies? Right?” Harris whined.
As we reported, President Trump took to Truth Social to explain his decision to construct a new ballroom. “I am pleased to announce that ground has been broken on the White House grounds to build the new, big, beautiful White House Ballroom. Completely separate from the White House itself, the East Wing is being fully modernized as part of this process, and will be more beautiful than ever when it is complete! For more than 150 years, every President has dreamt about having a Ballroom at the White House to accommodate people for grand parties, State Visits, etc,” a Truth Social post read.
Continuing, he noted, “I am honored to be the first President to finally get this much-needed project underway — with zero cost to the American Taxpayer! The White House Ballroom is being privately funded by many generous Patriots, Great American Companies, and, yours truly. This Ballroom will be happily used for Generations to come! President DJT”

Furthermore, in the context of this decision, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt described the purpose of this room. “The White House is currently unable to host major functions honoring world leaders in other countries without having to install a large and unsightly tent approximately 100 yards away from the main building’s entrance,” Leavitt noted.

However, some Democrats, such as the woke Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), have vowed to tear it down.
“Don’t even think of seeking the Democratic nomination for president unless you pledge to take a wrecking ball to the Trump Ballroom on DAY ONE,” alternatively suggesting, “***Or, as @RubenGallego
proposes, rename it the Barack Obama Ballroom. But a Trump monument to corruption will not stand.”
