uring a recent episode of the Nelk Boys’ “Full Send” podcast, Kyle Forgeard drew attention to a subject that’s vitally important in our modern era: the erosion of media integrity and the low quality of guests on many media channels, slamming Fox News Channel for a wild incident in which he saw a girl go from being drunk at a party to talking about the Russo-Ukraine War on FNC.
As background, the Nelk Boys are hugely popular YouTubers and social media personalities. Generally existing outside the mainstream media complex and focused on online content that reaches a totally different audience than cable news, it was, as such, a big deal when they platformed and endorsed now-President Trump in the 2024 election, helping push the young male demographic even more firmly to his side.
Forgeard brought up a perfect example during the podcast of how even right-leaning media is suffering from a lack of standards. In his anecdote, Forgeard told about seeing a young woman at a Republican event drink way too much alcohol, then later appear on Fox News to chit-chat about a serious and complex geopolitical issue like the relations between Ukraine and Russia.
Beginning the short but very entertaining story, Forgeard didn’t share who it was that FNC had on, but did stress how he thinks the network will just bring on any young conservative female, for ratings, saying, “Like I was, I was watching Fox News the other day, yeah, same thing. They’re putting on any conservative girl on there right now.”
Building on that, he emphasized that one such guest was a girl he saw get way too drunk at a party, and then shortly afterward appear on FNC to discuss important matters of geopolitics. “Like, I saw a chick at like, a Republican Party that was like, hammered and shit. And then I looked on the TV and I saw she was, like, giving a take on, like, Ukraine and Russia,” he said.
Concluding, he noted that it really was embarrassing for Fox News that it would bring such people on, as they aren’t responsible and have no qualifications that make their takes on complex and important issues worth hearing. “I was like, ‘Dude!’ The specific reason I brought this up: just no qualifications,” he said.

Posters and commenters on X loved the story, going wild over the fact that he saw someone go from being smashed at a party to live on one of the biggest cable channels in the world. For example, one poster said, “Kyle from Nelk Boys thinks TV stations will let anyone come on now a days & talk. He said he turned on Fox News & saw a girl he just saw wasted at a Republican Party 🤣”
One commenter found the whole thing somewhat tiresome, however, asking, “WHY does anyone care so much if someone drinks at a party? Should we call the police?” The poster responded, “Nah. It’s just funny. I think his point was they probably sound dumb and aren’t worth listening to on the news.”
