In a massive meltdown that did nothing other than embarrass the woke Democrats, “Squad” member Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) went berserk in a speech in the House in which she accused House Republicans of acting like “fascists,” and compared them to Nazis, prompting immediate online backlash.
For context, Rep. Tlaib was freaking out in the face of a flurry of major Trump wins. Notably, she objected to Trump’s decision to mobilize hundreds of National Guard soldiers to secure Washington, D.C., a move the Democrats hated that has nevertheless made America’s capital city safe and pleasant again.
In any case, beginning her disorganized and theatrical complaints, the hyper-progressive “Squad” member whined, “We can’t be passive right now, so nobody over there should take anything we say seriously, you know, like so personally, as if we’re attacking them.”
Next, Rep. Tlaib cynically tried to rewrite history to serve her own ends. “No, we’re attacking a process, not attacking people here. And I think it’s really important we need to stand up against this fascist takeover. That’s not a bad word. It’s a fact,” the far-left Michigan Democrat alleged.
Still not done stretching the Truth, she kept up; her series of dishonest claims, saying, “And here in DC and across the country, it is so incredibly important, Mr. Chair, that this committee does not allow rhetoric that defames or paints Washington D.C. in a way that you all haven’t really truly seen. You’re just reading it. No, you’re just reading it or something off of some…”
Jusifiably annoyed, the chairman interjected and tried to stop her ramble, but Tlaib continued undeterred. “I don’t yield. I don’t even have time. I can tell you….Mr. Chairman, but you all live here, and you’re not telling people the beautiful parts that you do see in our nation’s capital. And no, no, no, it’s just wrong,” Tlaib screeched.
Clearly offended by her wild claims and disrespectful tone, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) interjected and said, “She’s going to refer to me and some of my colleagues as if we were from the Third Reich. It’s insane. …Do I look like a member of the Third Reich? To you, Miss Talib, is that what I look like to you?”

Doubling down on her screeching and her wild rhetoric, Tlaib continued undeterred, snapping, “I think it’s radical, and I think it’s radical, and I think it’s insane, and I don’t respect anything that you say, but to say something like that to myself and all of my colleagues is way out of line!”

Taking to social media to fight back, Donalds issued a scathing statement. “Yesterday in @GOPoversight Rashida Tlaib used the exact same rhetoric that inspired Tyler Robinson. I called her out and we must call them out EVERY SINGLE TIME. Stand for what is right. Stand for your beliefs. Stand for America. Stand on business. YOUR VOICE MATTERS,” the Republican bravely posted.
In the comments under his post, conservatives rallied behind his brave message. “@RepRashida
is a hate filled bigot. She does not have the temperament or the judgement to be a public servant,” one replied. Another comment stated, “‘Do I look like a member of the 3rd Reich to you, Mrs. Tlaib?!’ Pure gold. Great argument, future Governor Donalds.’
