In a worrying consequence of left-wing radicalism that mirrors what Tom Homan has tragically said, Cheryl Hines, wife of HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., repeatedly expressed fear for her husband’s safety after the savage murder of Charlie Kirk, given the intense feelings inculcated by his MAHA agenda. Reacting to this threat, she urged a dialogue over hatred.
For context, Hines is in the news because of her upcoming memoir, ‘Unscripted,’ in which she praises RFK Jr.’s “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) reforms in Trump’s administration, saying things like “I’m really proud that Bobby’s leading the charge.” Additionally, RFK has promised sweeping changes by “Ending corporate capture… gold-standard science.”
In any case, beginning her remarks about her husband’s safety, Cheryl Hines voiced her very real worries. “I am very worried. It can’t be, ‘Because you don’t think like me, I hate you.’ That’s what it feels like sometimes,” she said to describe leftist intolerance.
Adding to that point, Hines exposed how the rampant poltical corectness and attendent confrontations have made normal life difficult and interactions with many people unpleasant. She stated, “If someone didn’t vote the same way you voted, instead of saying, ‘Oh, you’re stupid, you don’t know what you’re doing!’ — ‘Why did you vote for this person?’ or ‘Why do you believe this, about this issue?’ Then, really let it in what their response is, because maybe you’ll start to understand each other more.”
But Hines didn’t back down to the left despite that pressure. Describing the core of the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement, Hines made her support clear. “Overall, going through the days, you’re trying to make the healthiest choices, and you’re trying to do what’s best for your body to keep you healthy. That’s basically it,” she declared.
Concluding her comments, Cheryl Hines expressed her confidence in her husband. “It is so amazing to have Bobby leading this MAHA movement where you’re watching some of the things that he’s accomplished, like getting rid of petroleum-based dyes in food, getting rid of ingredients in our food that other countries don’t allow, looking at baby formula and getting rid the arsenic and the lead that’s in it. When you see some of these accomplishments, first of all, you wonder why it’s all like this to begin with, but second of all, I’m really proud that Bobby’s the person leading the charge,” she declared.
Her husband, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has stood by his movement as well. For example, when explaining the importance of the MAHA agenda, he said, “This strategy represents the most sweeping reform agenda in modern history — realigning our food and health systems, driving education, and unleashing science to protect America’s children and families. We are ending the corporate capture of public health, restoring transparency, and putting gold-standard science — not special interests — at the center of every decision.”

As we at the American Tribune have reported, Tom Homan is another Trump official who’s faced real threats to his security from the radical left. “My wife’s living separately from me right now,” the Border Czar explained, adding that he and his wife have to remain apart “because of the death threats against me.” Homan added, “I see her as much as I can, but the death threats against me and my family are outrageous.”
Concluding his comments, Homan told reporters that he was “not going anywhere” despite how difficult his job could be, saying, “I mean, I had a thousand protestors at my house in Upstate New York, my lake house.” He added, “I’m not going away, ’cause I know how important it is to secure our border,”
