“Shouldn’t Be Trusted”: Fox News Hammered As Full of “RINOs” Over Defense of Deep State Agents, George Soros

Various Deep State apparatchiks like John Bolton and Adam Schiff might finally be facing justice as the Trump Administration DOJ digs into their actions, and of course RINOs on Fox News have decided to step in to defend them, something that led to immense fury and tireless outrage online, particularly on X.

For reference, the FNC host at issue was Howard Kurtz, and his outrage came in late August, when the Trump Administration indicated that it was planning on using the hammer of the DOJ to bring a collection of figures like John Bolton and George Soros to justice. Kurtz insisted that doing such is wrong because the alleged wrongdoers are political enemies of President Trump’s.

Speaking on the matter, Kurtz said, “Many of Donald Trump’s political opponents are finding that themselves under investigation, or the President calling for one. Trump was attacked. He has attacked, excuse me, John Bolton, his fired National Security Adviser, in the days before the FBI raided his home. When Chris Christie renewed his harsh criticism of the president, Trump brought up the 2013 Bridgegate scandal, the closing of lanes on the Georgia Washington Bridge, in which the governor was never charged and two of his top aides had their convictions overturned.”

Continuing, Kurtz played a clip of President Trump commenting on holding Christie accountable over the matter and then noted that President Trump had said much the same thing about Soros, saying, “George Soros and his wonderful radical left son should be charged with Rico because of their support of violent protests and much more all throughout the United States of America.”

Kurtz then commented on yet another incident, saying, “And after Maryland Governor Wes Moore bumped into the president at a football game, saying he was working with Republicans to rebuild the collapsed Key Bridge, the President said this, I gave Wes Moore a lot of money to fix his demolished bridge, I will now have to rethink that decision question mark, question mark, question mark. Robbie, I think that particular threat against Wes Moore is the most egregious case, because who would be hurt if the bridge repair funds were actually withheld?”

Predictably, MAGA accounts on X were furious about the matter. The Johnny MAGA X account, for example, explained, “Fox News’ Howard Kurtz defends John Bolton, Chris Christie, George Soros and son, and Democrat Governor Wes Moore, implying that they’re only being scrutinized or investigated because they’re Trump’s “political opponents.” He’s actually worse than what you find on CNN…”

Similarly, the Glockford Files X account, using the incident to skewer Fox News generally, said, “In case you didn’t already know, Fox News is owned and operated by the democrats and RINOs of the uniparty cult. They shouldn’t be trusted anymore than CNN and MSNBC.”

Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of the president, slammed Fox News in similar terms more recently, noting in comments to Newsmax that he hardly watches Fox News at this point because it is full of RINOs who are biased against conservatives. “Honestly, I don’t watch it anymore because it is so ridiculous,” he said.
