In one of the funnier videos that has since come back to bite Democrats in a major way, given who the Trump official attacked in it was, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) was attacked by booed by Republicans in the Senate for her ridiculous meltdown during the confirmation hearing for Russ Vought, the now Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
For reference, the OMB is very important, particularly during shutdowns, because of the massive power it has to determine spending priorities and make cuts in the federal workforce. We have already seen that play out during this shutdown, with Vought’s OMB beginning Reduction in Force layoffs within days of the shutdown starting, firing thousands of Swamp bureaucrats and canceling billions in federal funding for various leftist cities.
So, Director Vought has started getting his revenge on the Democrats like Sen. Warren, who so unfairly targeted and attacked him in the ridiculous spectacle of his confirmation hearing, and has been using the Schumer Shutdown they started to do so.
In any case, Warren’s freakout over Vought was ridiculous. At one point, for example, she declared, “Russ Vought wants to find a way to make sure it’s shut down everywhere. He wants to encourage discrimination against transgender people. He thinks getting rid of civil rights is the way to go for the American government. And he says he wants to put federal workers “in trauma” and destroy the merit-based system for civil servants so he can fill up our government with right wing extremists.”
In another, she said, “Shortly after the election, he nominated one of the chief architects of Project 2025 in a key role with the government. Now, Donald Trump has named the lead architect of Project 2025, Russ Vought, to oversee the federal government’s entire budget office. That’s right, listen to this one, he is putting the head writer of the plans that you had only read about in nightmares in a key government position. Russ Vought wrote Project 2025, and now Donald Trump is rewarding him by inviting him into the government in order to carry out the Republican blueprint to make our government force people to live in the image that Russ Vought and other extremist Republicans approve of. And he plans to rework our economy to benefit the wealthiest among us and make everybody else pay for it. ”
She later claimed, absurdly, “Russ Vought’s Project 2025 proposals will lead to higher inflation, higher interest rates, and weaker economic growth. Project 2025 would seriously threaten another recession. Look, already families all across this country are feeling the pressure from high grocery prices while Donald Trump and his administration just turn their backs on working families. American families cannot afford for Russ Vought to be in charge. We don’t know how far Russ Vought’s extremism will go, but we can’t afford to wait and find out.”
And, in one of the most absurd and entertaining moments of her freakout, the leftist senator had what amounted to an emotional meltdown, and started screaming “BLAH BLAH BLAH,” with GOP senators in the chamber sticking up for Mr. Vought and shutting down Warren by loudly booing her and the chaos she was attempting to cause with her screaming.

Even more entertainingly, Warren was told by the chair, after she started screeching “BLAH BLAH BLAH” and got booed, that she was not allowed to debate things in that time under the current Senate rules, and so she had to sit down in shame, adding to the absurdity of the situation.
Commenting on the absurdity and hilarity of it all in a post on X, conservative X poster Nick Sortor said, “🚨 LMAO! Elizabeth Warren just had an emotional breakdown on the Senate floor She stood up, started SCREAMING, and was audibly booed by other members. Pocahontas is buckling under all of Trump’s winning 🤣”
