In an overdramatic statement, Los Angeles County declared a local emergency in a 4-1 vote to counter ICE raids. Leaders like Supervisor Lindsey Horvath gave breathless statements about the ‘terror’ of immigration enforcement and clarified that local government supported illegal immigrants.
For context, Los Angeles County has offered complete resources for rent relief, legal aid, and community stabilization amid fear, economic disruption, family separations, and alleged hate-based violence. Responding to these absurd claims. ICE blasted the move as law-defying favoritism toward “criminal illegal aliens” over fire victims, insisting that raids remove dangerous criminals.
In any case, woke local politician Lindsey Horvath started with an absurd series of claims. “What’s happening in our communities is an emergency, and Los Angeles County is treating it like one,” the far-left supervisor said.
Continuing the meltdown, Supervisor Janice Hahn sided with illegal aliens over her own citizens.
Doubling down on this insane rhetoric, she said, “Declaring a Local Emergency ensures that the full weight of County government is aligned to support our immigrant communities who are being targeted by federal actions.”
Building on her previous wild claims, she continued, “The emergency declaration was needed to respond to ‘the fear, the pain and the disorder these ICE raids are causing our community.’ We have entire families who are destitute because their fathers or mothers were taken from their workplaces.” Concluding her comments, she added, “I want our immigrant communities to know that we are in this emergency with them.”
Another Supervisor, Holly Mitchell, claimed that enforcing the law has led to racist attacks, in a shickling and unverified claim. “The raids have emboldened others to commit acts of race-based violence and hate,” Mitchell alleged.
Adding another perspective, Board Chair Kathryn Barger slammed the previous work reactions. Firing back, she noted, “The federal government has sole authority to enforce federal immigration law, and local governments cannot impede that authority.”

Making it clear that these woke politicians are disregarding the law, ICE Spokesperson Emily Convington demolished these woke Democrats. “The only state of emergency is the one the residents of Los Angeles face after electing officials who give a middle finger to the law,” she declared.
