WATCH: Man Dressed as Santa Shows Up In Portland to Support ICE, Sound Off on Anti-ICE Rioters and Taxpayer Funding for Illegal Aliens

In a moment that added some much-needed levity to a solemn situation, a jubilant man dressed as Santa Claus showed up on the scene of an antifa riot in Portland to lend his support to beleaguered ICE agents.

For context, while Portland has long been the site of destructive anti-government protests, antifa aligned groups have run rampant in recent months over the Trump administration’s immigration policy, often devolving into savage violence.

In any case, a rented video captures footage of the man showing his support for law and order. Katie Daviscort, a reporter for The Post Millennial, faced violence for her coverage of antifa, tweeted, “Portland, Ore. — A man dressed up as Santa arrives outside the ICE facility to support ICE: He GOES OFF on illegal aliens stealing taxpayer dollars.”

Making his position clear, the man noted, “I support the citizens of the United States. Our taxpayer dollars are going to illegal immigrants. And that’s not right. That’s not called for. We need to take care of our citizens here first. Why should your taxes go towards the illegal people here?”

As we reported, Daviscourt was assaulted with a flagpole by a masked Antifa protester outside the same ICE facility, several weeks before she captured this comedic video. Unfortunately, she was left with a black eye, concussion, and eye hemorrhage.

Speaking later, Daviscourt noted that the last four months could be characterized as “complete lawlessness.” She accused Antifa of targeting journalists, residents, and ICE agents. Additionally, she criticized the Portland police for not arresting the assailant, despite her identifying the suspect.

Describing the incident, the outrageous conservative noted, “Antifa-affiliated protesters who harass, assault, and threaten anyone who they perceive to be a threat to their cause, including journalists, residents, and ICE agents.”

Building on this point, she connected the incident to her work. “That’s what it’s been like covering Portland for the past four months. Complete lawlessness. This Antifa-affiliated subject just started approaching me and waving a flagpole in my face, and then I turn around, and that’s when she swung it like a baseball bat and directly hit my eye, Daviscourt explained.

Disappointingly, despite her report to the local police, nothing was done. She stated, “I immediately ran to a Portland police officer, hunted down the suspect, chased her through the streets, and said, ‘This is my assault suspect, can you guys finally do something?’ and I had eyes on her for about 35 minutes.”

Adding more context on social media, Daviscourt posted horrific pictures of her injuries. “I shouldn’t have to post my injury, but since one of the main Antifa agitators involved in the Portland ICE occupation is defaming me — here’s a look at my black eye given to me by one of her terrorist comrades,” she added.

Concluding her post, the courageous journalist explained the extent of her injuries, stating, “I also really hate attention and don’t do well with being a victim, but the truth must be told (I have a concussion and eye hemorrhage!).”
