As the Trump Administration Department of Justice keeps the wheels of vengeance turning, most recently with New York Attorney General Letitia James facing a grand jury indictment on two counts having to do with her alleged mortgage fraud, it is important to remember that President Trump also appears to finally be going after George Soros, as he indicated in a late-August post on Truth Social.
For reference, Soros has long been an enemy of the GOP, as shown by his funding of radical leftist prosecutors and DAs that have turned cities into effective warzones with soft-on-crime policies, and his general funding of leftist causes and protest groups.
That long-latent fury and suspicion regarding him have recently started flaming into more open discontent with his influence in American politics, particularly given the rise in violence inflicted by leftist radical street protest groups, some of which Soros is indirectly connected to through donations.
So, President Trump took to Truth Social to condemn the leftist billionaire and argue that his financial support for such radical and often destructive protests through NGO donations should lead to him facing RICO conspiracy charges. He said, “George Soros, and his wonderful Radical Left son, should be charged with RICO because of their support of Violent Protests, and much more, all throughout the United States of America.”
Continuing, the president declared that America would no longer be living under the boot heel of leftist radicalism and the state of things imposed by riots and mobs in the streets, snapping, “We’re not going to allow these lunatics to rip apart America any more, never giving it so much as a chance to “BREATHE,” and be FREE.”
Concluding the post, Trump argued that Soros and others connected to his operation and NGOs have put themselves at risk of legal action with what they have supported, and they will be stopped from doing so in the future. He said, “Soros, and his group of psychopaths, have caused great damage to our Country! That includes his Crazy, West Coast friends. Be careful, we’re watching you! Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
The president told the same thing to Fox and Friends after the murder of Charlie Kirk, saying, “And we’re going to look into Soros, because I think it’s a RICO case against him and other people.” He added, “Because this is more than like protests. This is real agitation. This is riots on the street, and we’re going to look into that. What do we do about our country with that?” Watch him here:

Trump has threatened Soros before, particularly in connection to DA Alvin Bragg’s persecution by prosection of him. In one such post in May of 2024, for example, he wrote, “This Witch Hunt is FALSE ANCIENT HISTORY that was fully adjudicated by the Voters in the 2016 Presidential Election. It only has to do with Election Interference, and trying to help Crooked Joe Biden get elected because he can’t do it by himself. It is a vicious attack by the Soros backed D.A., Alvin Bragg, in strict coordination with the D.O.J. and the White House, on Biden’s Political Opponent, ME. IT IS ILLEGAL, UNCONSTITUTIONAL, AND STRICTLY THIRD WORLD COUNTRY!”
Given that Letitia James has faced the DOJ Eye of Sauron thanks to her involvement in such lawfare against the now-president, and has been indicted as a result, it is not unlikely that not just Alvin Bragg but George Soros and his operation as well are facing potential indictments.
