In yet another deeply embarrassing scandal, Former congresswoman Katie Porter, who is now attempting to run for California Governor, was exposed for referring to pedophilia as an “identity” in a recently surfaced clip that sent the internet ablaze.
For context, she has been rocked by scandal already, including another recorded video where she swore and verbally abused a staffer while talking about green energy. Similarly, she was criticized for an awkward interview where she responded to basic questions by berating a journalist.
Seemingly speaking about a crime, the controversial Democrat said, “This allegation of groomer and pedophile. It is alleged that a person is criminal somehow and engaged in criminal acts merely because of their identity, their sexual orientation, their gender identity.”
Almost immediately, the internet exploded. One user noted, “BREAKING – A 2022 clip of California governor candidate Katie Porter calling pedophilia an ‘identity’ is going viral following her botched interview last night on CBS, where she lost her composure with journalist Julie Watts and nearly walked out.”
Disturbed by this comment, one conservative noted, “My God. I thought the headline was an exaggeration or a distortion. But she actually said this. She actually meant it.” Agreeing, another said, “There’s no way this is their top candidate. I don’t believe it for one millisecond 🤣”
As we reported, this is not Porter’s only scandal. Recently, she shouted at CBS News reporter Julie Watts over questions regarding her ability to appeal to Trump voters. Showing off an entitled and arrogant attitude.
Losing her composure in an embarrassing fashion, she described the interview as “unnecessarily argumentative” and threatened to walk out, stating she didn’t want to have an “unhappy experience” on camera. The viral clip drew criticism from rivals like Antonio Villaraigosa, Tony Thurmond, Steve Hilton, and Xavier Becerra.

Beginning the interview, Julie Watts asked a reasonable question. “What do you say to the 40 percent of California voters — who you’ll need in order to win — who voted for Trump?” she noted. Responding, the arrogant Democrat said, “How would I need them in order to win, ma’am?”
After a few tense moments, he journalist asked how she would react if there were two left-wing candidates. Porter snarled, “I don’t intend for that to be the case.” After a few more minutes, the candidate lost her composure.
Porter whined, “I don’t want to keep doing this. … Not like this, I’m not. Not with seven follow-ups to every single question you ask. I don’t want to have an unhappy experience with you, and I don’t want this all on camera.”

In response to this breach of protocol, a spokesperson for Antonio Villaraigosa said, “We need a governor who will work to solve hard problems and who is not afraid to answer simple questions. No candidate for Governor should hide from the press or mistreat them — we owe it to the public to be transparent.”
