Biden’s State of the Union address hasn’t even happened yet but former President Donald Trump is already hitting back, coming out swinging at the Biden Administration’s handling of America over the past two years.
Beginning, Trump started by saying that he would give the “real state of the union” and then immediately launching into saying what Biden is doing incorrectly. In his words:
“Here’s the real state of the union. Over the past two years under Biden, millions and millions of illegal aliens from 160 different countries, have stormed across our southern border.”
Continuing, he moved on to attacking Biden for what he characterized as the utter disaster of the deadly drug crisis enabled by the anarchy at the southern border, saying “Drug cartels are now raking in billions of dollars from smuggling poison to kill our people and to kill our children.”
He then moved to the problem of crime generally, saying “Savage killers, rapists and violent criminals are being released from jail to continue their crime wave. And under Biden, the murder rate has reached the highest in the history of our country.”
Former President Trump then pledged to correct the “destruction of our country” and return to making America great again if elected in 2024, saying:
“I am running for president to end the destruction of our country and to complete the unfinished business of making America great again. We will make our country better than ever before, and will always put America first.”
And Trump didn’t hesitate to call out those he thought were responsible for America’s woes, particularly in the economic realm, saying that “radical Democrats” had “wasted trillions of dollars and caused the worst inflation in half a century.”
Continuing on the economic point, he then noted that “Real wages are down 21 months in row,” emphasizing the terrible toll that inflation has taken on the middle class as it rips through the economy.
Neither was the FBI and DOJ left out of Trump’s blistering attack on the ruling regime. Speaking on what they’ve done, Trump also accused President Biden and his lackeys of having “weaponized” the Justice Department in order to to “persecute his political opponents.”
Adding to that, he then said “And I’m a victim of it,” in what was likely a reference to the shocking FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.
The former president will also be doing a play-by-play attack on Biden’s State of the Union address tonight. Announcing that in a Truth Social post, he said:
“I will be doing, by popular request, a live and full ‘Play by Play’ analysis of The State of the Union Address, TONIGHT ON ‘TRUTH’ AT 9:00 P.M.
“If properly done, and if Joe has just a modestly good night, this speech has the opportunity to rival any of the World’s great orators, including, Lincoln, Washington, and, of course, the late, great, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Sir Winston Churchill. Watch Truth Social tonight. Enjoy!”
