Great news out of New Jersey suggests a highly competitive race, with Republicans in a strong position. While New Jersey has been under Democratic control for a while, recent elections in other states and anger over woke polices have pushed the balance in favor of the GOP.
For context, prominent pollsters have predicted that Ciattarelli and Sherrill are either tied in the race or that the Republican is leading by a margin of 1%. Additionally, Prominent conservatives, including the president, have grown excited at the chance to flip New Jersey red.
In any case, new results were posted on social media. “New Jersey is 100% in play this year. Emerson (A+ rated pollster): 🔵 Sherrill: 43%  🔴 Ciattarelli: 43% NR (2021’s best pollster): 🔴 Ciattarelii 46% (+1) 🔵 Sherrill 45%.  Everyone in NJ, make a plan to vote. If you are still not registered, it isn’t too late. For Charlie,” the poll revealed.
Reacting to this post, another commentator noted, “New Jersey flipping red would be one of the biggest political earthquakes of 2025.  If Ciattarelli pulls this off, it won’t just be about NJ — it’ll be a warning shot to every blue state machine. Democrats took Charlie. Now Jersey voters have a chance to take their power back.”
Offering another view, one user dug into the details. “These polls are a wake-up call for NJ Dems—Sherrill’s lead has evaporated faster than Murphy’s approval ratings, turning a safe blue seat into a nail-biter that could hand Ciattarelli the keys to Trenton and flip the script on four years of tax hikes and gridlock,” a user noted.
Connecting this seismic shift to the problems facing voters, another comment stated, “NJ folks are frustrated with/ costly green energy policies over a practical all-of-the-above approach. Replace old energy plants w/ green ones, but build them first! Yet, NJ Dems closed nuclear, 1 of the greenest energy sources. We need common sense solutions for NJ’s energy future!”
As we reported, while commenting on the matter, President Trump noted that the poll shows Ciattarelli to be within striking distance of defeating the far-left Democratic candidate, saying, “Wow!!! A just out poll has Jack Ciattarelli essentially beating close to incompetent Mike Sherrill in the race for Governor of New Jersey.”

Contrasting the Republican candidate’s objectives, both of which are very common sense and popular, with the delusional commitments of the far-left candidate, President Trump then said, “Jack is tough on crime and cutting taxes, two things that people really demand today. He will be a GREAT Governor, and Sherrill wants Open Borders (again!), men playing in Women’s Sports, Transgender for everyone, and all of the things that almost DESTROYED America.”
Concluding his comments, President Trump connected the DNC candidate Sherrill to Zohran Mamdani, the far-left mayoral candidate in New York City, who some have painted as a radical socialist who will destroy the great American city. He said, “She is a big supporter of the perhaps future Communist Mayor of New York City! We need Jack in New Jersey!!! President DJT”
