In an absolutely hilarious incident that came on Tuesday, September 30, President Donald Trump totally roasted a woke CBS reporter inside the Oval Office, entertainingly boasting “I have a bigger heart than you do” as the two bickered during a tense but extremely fun-to-watch exchange.
For reference, the moment came as President Trump argued with CBS’s senior White House correspondent, Weijia Jiang. Jiang had challenged President Trump on his refusal to avert a government shutdown by allowing the Democrats to ram through health care subsidies for illegal immigrants.
Jiang began by claiming that Trump is lying and Democrats are not trying to refund government healthcare for illegal aliens, saying, “Mr. President, undocumented immigrants are not eligible for the health care subsidies the Democrats are demanding. So can you clarify, what are you talking about when you say Democrats want to protect their health care?”
For reference, the public healthcare cuts achieved with the Big Beautiful Bill removed nearly a million and a half people, many of them illegal aliens, from Medicaid and CHIP, as Speaker of the House Mike Johnson noted in a post, saying, “Congressional Democrats and the Mainstream Media are saying that Chuck Schumer’s $1.5 Trillion Dirty CR Counteroffer does not allow illegal aliens to get free healthcare. But IT DOES. Here’s how: The Democrat CR would repeal our Working Families Tax Cut policies that eliminated waste, fraud, and abuse from Medicaid—including all our protections against taxpayer-funded health care benefits going to illegals.”
President Trump, in any case, told her that those here illegally are breaking the law when they do so, and so need to be held legally accountable for that, saying, “So when an illegal person comes in, a person who came into our country illegally, therefore breaking the law.”
Adding to that, the president made his joke, commenting on having a “bigger heart” than the woke journalist. He said, “And look, we all have a big hearts. I have a bigger heart than you do. They’re all breaking the law and coming into the country. And we just, as a country, cannot afford to take care of millions of people who have broken the law coming in. We want them to come into our country, but we want them to come legally.”
Then, commenting on his handling of the border and how it is much “stronger” now than under Biden, along with the number of people he thinks came in under the Biden Administration, saying, “Now we have a strong border, very strong border thanks to Kristi [Noem] and Tom Homan and the whole group. They’ve done an amazing job at the border. We had a border that was reckless. We had a border that was a disaster. They were coming in by the millions. I say 25 million people. You’re saying less, but I say 25 million people came in illegally.”

He concluded, “And no system can take care of the health care of all of those people that came in. A lot of them have gone out. We have over 11,000 murderers. We got many of them out. Many of those people have been taken out of the country, brought back to where they came from, in some cases put in prison because they’re so dangerous. We don’t want to take ’em out. We have to watch him — we don’t want them coming back.”
