Democrat City Councilwoman in Oklahoma Resigns after Making Horrific Comments to Trump Supporter, Telling Her to Harm Herself

Bree Danyele Montoya, a Councilwoman from Norman, Oklahoma, was forced to step down after her June Facebook comments, urging Trump supporter Audra Abbott to commit suicide, were revealed to the public eye.

For context, she urged Trump supporter Audra Abbott to commit suicide, inviting her to “open a vein” or “put a gun in your mouth.” Additionally, she mocked Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s so-called “MAGA math.” Despite initial inaction, public outcry led to her eventual resignation from the Ward 3 council seat.

In her initial messages to Audra Abbott on Facebook, Bree Danyele Montoya made a series of inappropriate messages. “I was there, it must be your MAGA math! Bless your uneducated heart,” she commanded, “Open a vein. Go on, put a gun in your mouth and pull the trigger.”

In any case, after the messages went viral, Montoya was compelled to address her actions at a council meeting. “In various capacities, I have served this community since 2008, and I am ready to pursue other interests. Effective immediately, I am resigning as council member for Ward 3. Thank you, Ward 3,” she said.

Reacting to the case, Chaya Raichik, better known as Libs of TikTok, provided context for these remarks to Fox News Digital. She stated, “With a rising trend of violent left-wing extremists targeting conservatives, it is our duty to hold elected officials, such as Oklahoma City Councilor Bree Montoya, accountable for violent rhetoric, regardless of their status or position.”

Building on this point, Libs of TikTok connects these violent statements to real-world consequences. While the fake news media refuses to acknowledge the truth of the rising epidemic of far-left violence, Libs of TikTok will continue to expose elected leaders who promote violence, demonize ICE, or issue threatening statements against the American people,” she said.

However, as we reported, this is far from the first instance where someone has lost their job due to vile political comments. For example, Autumn Perkins, an Ohio woman, ordered Charlie Kirk’s favorite Starbucks drink, Mint Majesty tea with two honey packets, at a Kroger-operated location in Middletown and found “racist’s fav drink” written on her cup.

Reacting to these absurd comments,  Perkins expressed her anger. “It’s time for people to stop this nonsense,” she announced, “I would agree that people should be fired if they’re doing something like this… actions have repercussions.”

Adding more details to her comments, she tied her reaction to Kirk’s thoughts. Perkins said, “I feel like Charlie stood for respect — we don’t have to agree on everything. We can disagree on a lot of things, but we respect each other.”

Bringing her remarks to a close, she expressed worry about the loss of respect. “We can’t communicate and grow if we’re disrespecting each other,” she said, “Charlie stood for respect. We can disagree but still respect each other.”

Additionally, the Ohio woman indicated that she would be boycotting the coffee retailer in the future, saying, “I don’t intend to spend another penny at Starbucks — and as far as I’m concerned, neither will my children or anybody else in my family who will listen to me.”
