Inspired by the late Charlie Kirk, a MAGA hat-clad group calling themselves “Fearless Debates” was chased off Tennessee State University, an HBCU, by a horde of triggered students misbehaving and threatening violence.
For context, far-left groups like the Nashville NAACP condemned the incident as an intentional act to disrupt and intimidate Black students, and the university issued a self-congratulatory statement. However, conservatives saw through the narrative and lent their support to the embattled debaters.
In any case, the Fearless Debaters group carried signs that bore messages that triggered the woke students at TSU. Some signs bore messages which read, “DEI should be illegal” or “Deport all illegals now,” in addition to pro-Trump items.
Melting down, the Nashville NAACP issued a breathless post, which whined about feeling “Infuriated and alarmed.” Additionally, the group complained that the conservatives “Attempted to draw students into conversations centered on these messages, which were framed as debate but functioned as provocation.”
Still not done, the local NAACP chapter attempted to invoke tired woke talking points. “This incident was not an isolated act of political expression — it was an intentional effort to antagonize, disrupt, and instill fear in a space created to be safe, affirming, and supportive of Black students,” the group complained.
Finally reaching the end of their comments, NAACP Nashville stated, “While we recognize and respect that free speech is a constitutional right, there is a clear and urgent distinction between constructive dialogue and rhetoric deliberately designed to provoke, demean, and endanger the psychological safety of students at HBCUs.”
Echoing these comments, TSU issued a statement on the incident. “Today, a group of individuals unaffiliated with Tennessee State University appeared on campus without prior notice. In accordance with university policy, any demonstration or protest activity requires advance approval and permitting,” the HBCU stated.

In an apparent attempt to spin the events. TSU claimed, “Campus police and staff responded promptly, and the individuals were escorted from university grounds without incident. At all times, TSU students conducted themselves in a professional and respectful manner.”
Concluding its statement, TSU alleged, “The safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff remain our highest priority. TSU will continue to uphold university policies and ensure that campus remains a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment for all members of our community.”
When the clips of the incident made it to social media, semi-literate woke ideologues wrote dozens of insulting messages. One such comment read, “Here another video shout by A TSU students: On September 23, 2025, a group of unauthorized individuals wearing “Make America Great Again” (#MAGA) hats and holding anti-#DEI and anti-#immigrant signs were escorted off the campus of #Tennessee State University (#TSU) by campus police and students.”

Continuing her tirade, the activist claimed, “The incident was documented on social media and widely circulated online. Shout to the students at TSU, those lil boys were completely removed from campus, no permit, no violence, and GONE! #HBCU #FAFO”
