Schumer Gets More Very Bad News from New Polling Data Showing Critically Important Democrat Senator in Trouble

Odious Democrat Sen. Jon Ossoff (GA) is looking like he’s in trouble with his next election in 2026, as polls show soft approval and vulnerability amid Democrats’ unsettling leftward shift. For example, one survey ties him at 38% with GOP Rep. Mike Collins, while he leads Rep. Buddy Carter 40%-37% and Derek Dooley 42%-35%.

For context, 23% of voters are undecided, and Republicans favor Collins as the strongest nominee. According to pollsters, illegal immigration is a deciding issue with 75%+ supporting the Laken Riley Act for deporting misdemeanor-convicted immigrants.

According to reports, despite Ossoff’s support for the immigration bill, only 31% approve of his efforts generally, and just 37% believe he deserves reelection, compared to 48% who seek something different in the upcoming election.

However, despite these damning reports, Ossoff’s massive fundraising efforts, which include $15.5 million in cash on hand, along with a divided GAGOP, might make it easier for him to retain his seat. That said, the GOP, working with President Trump, has raised a record $1.5 billion, which will help to flip the district.

For context, Sen. Jon Ossoff recently courted controversy by defending so-called comedian Jimmy Kimmel for his baseless allegations about the man who murdered charlike kirk. The unpopular GA democrat said, “Violence targeting political activists, no matter how strongly we may disagree with their views, is completely unacceptable and it’s incompatible with a free society and a flourishing democracy.”

Building on this point, he stressed that Kimmel should not have been fired, “And we should be united in recognizing that for politicians, for the state, for the government to use official power to intimidate critics, to silence those who speak in ways the government doesn’t like is also fundamentally inconsistent with a free society and a flourishing democracy,” he whined.

In another blow to his electoral chances, Ossoff has faced significant opposition for claiming he “championed” the VA Home Loan Program Reform Act, signed by President Trump in July 2025, which aims to protect veterans from foreclosure. For example, an official press release claimed, “Ossoff championed to help veterans relying on VA home loans and experiencing severe financial hardship avoid foreclosure.”

Reacting to these absurd claims, Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-WI) said the controversial program at the center of this scandal was “endangering the entire VA home loan guarantee program.” Additionally, he said that Ossoff’s press release was a “bald-faced lie” and added, “Sen. Ossoff had absolutely nothing to do with this bill, and I mean nothing. He did not even VOTE for it, it passed by UC. This disgusting and shameful behavior must stop. Veterans are not political props.”

Echoing these comments, Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA) blasted the glory-hungry Democrat.”Pathetic, disgusting lies. Congrats on showing Georgians you’re not above using veterans as props for your press stunts. Your empty suit gimmicks spit in the face of people you claim to serve,” he ended.

Adding to the wave of condemnation, Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) noted, “What Jon Ossoff is doing is called hogwash. He had nothing to do with this Republican effort to assist veterans. But now in his political desperation, he’s trying to take credit. Georgia deserves so much better.”
