WATCH: Tim Walz Freaks Out, Declares Cancellation of Jimmy Kimmel “North Korea-Style Stuff”

In the latest rendition of a powerful Democrat going absolutely ballistic over the fact that Jimmy Kimmel and his woke late night show got indefinitely suspended by ABC’s corporate owner, Disney, over horrible comments he made about Charlie Kirk, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) raged over what he claimed was a “North Korea-style” firing.

For reference, the use of “North Korea” as an evil specter of tyranny was particularly entertaining coming from Walz, as he has visited Communist China, North Korea’s main ally, dozens of times. In fact, he is even accused of treasonously taking classified information on Army equipment to the Red Chinese on his trips, some of which happened during his time in the service.

In any case, Walz freaked out over Disney’s decision to save itself by taking Kimmel off the air when he appeared on the Thursday, September 18, broadcast of MSNBC’s “All In.” He claimed that the firing represented tyranny and an attack on freedom of speech that can’t and shouldn’t be tolerated.

Beginning his absurd ramble on that point, Gov. Walz insisted that the suspension of Kimmel for his horrid remarks about a dead public figure is how “democracy dies.” Specifically, Walz said, “If you ever wonder how democracy dies this is it. It’s one of the most outrageous affronts on this.”

Continuing, he got to the line about the suspension of Kimmel being equivalent to what happens in North Korea, saying, “This is North Korea-style stuff. And it’s being done because this is a weak, thin skinned man who’s failing as a president. All of the things he promised are not happening. And this is exactly what dictators do.”

He then got in a throwaway line about condemning violent, saying, “It’s a it’s our most cherished freedom to point out very clearly, this is a terrible president and a terrible human being who is doing nothing to improve the lives of Minnesotans and who continues to have this double standard, because I just want to be very clear, there is no place for political violence, and we condemn it.”

Never missing an opportunity to attack conservatives, he then said, “But I would like to see the notice of how this is being approached and how my dear friend Melissa Hortman ‘s murder in a political attack was handled. And the attacks we see. We see a Fox News host on air talk about killing homeless people. None of this surprises me with Donald Trump.”

President Trump, by contrast, gloated over Kimmel’s firing in an entertaining post on Truth Social, saying, “Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED. Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that’s possible. That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!! President DJT”
