WATCH: Democrat Congressman Tries Trapping Witness in Hearing, Ends Up Getting Absolutely Roasted and Humiliated Live on TV

In a fraught moment from a congressional hearing, Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) was completely shut down by Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK. The woke Democrat accused Farage of attending Trump’s 2024 “coronation” in Milwaukee and attempting to secure funds from Elon Musk.

For context, Farage denied needing Musk’s support and pointed to a highly publicized fallout between the two men. Additionally, he rejected the baseless claims that he advocated for tariffs against his home country over the highly controversial Online Safety Act, which dramatically restricts freedom of speech.

In any case, the argument began over Farage’s recent appearance at the 2024 RNC convention. Hank Johnson asked, “Why did you come to Milwaukee?” Clearly annoyed, Farage answered that he was attending the RNC convention, which Johnson slandered as the location where “Trump was coronated.”

After the British politician disputed this description, the disrespectful Democrat continued, ” It was his coronation. And you attended, and you also attended Trump rallies, correct?” Answering truthfully, Farage stated, “I’ve attended lots of Trump rallies, Make America Great Again. Rallies, yes, optimistic, happy, wonderful, joyous [events].”

Pivoting to more disengenuous claims, the Georgia Congressman stated that the leader of Reform UK was attempting to cozy up to Elon Musk. He claimed, “You need a lot of money in order to blow …Yeah, and you’re carrying water for Elon Musk today, aren’t you?”

Replying honestly, Farage pointed to the facts, saying, “What I can see, Elon Musk is abusive about me virtually every single week, but it’s a free country…How much did Mrs. Zuckerberg give to the Democrats? I mean, this is what happens. ”

Making his accusation directly, the Democratic Congressman stated, You need money from Elon Musk in order to get elected Prime Minister of Great Britain. That’s the bottom line. We can see that.” Annoyed with the repetitive line of questioning, Farage fired back,” I had a very public falling out with Elon Musk.”

Still not done misrepresenting the truth, Rep. Johnson continued, What you’re arguing is that the citizens of Great Britain should pay a tariff if these tech companies are not allowed to violate the laws of Great
    Britain.”

Rebuking the disrespectful Democrat, the Reform UK leader noted, “No, that was a falsehood put out by the British Prime Minister today … I have never suggested that in any statement.” Blasting Johnson, Farage said that he’d been “Rude. He’s been disgusting. He’s been hilarious.”

Summarizing his arguments, the Brit stated, “I had a public fallout over being politically astute with Elon Musk. I can’t be bullied by anybody. I haven’t changed my mind. Last time I looked, he was being spectacularly rude about me yesterday. That’s life. If we believe in free speech, we live with it.”

Concluding his comments with a signature rhetorical flourish, Farage noted, “What I’ve made perfectly clear in this paper is the situation we’ve got with successive pieces of legislation, including now the Online Safety Act, is a danger to trade between our countries and allies and friends and trading partners have honest conversations with each other. I hope many American companies and politicians have honest conversations with the British government. I have not suggested sanctions at all in any way.”
