Judge Boasberg Releases Woman Who Made Deadly Threats Against Donald Trump

In a shocking turn of events, Nathalie Rose Jones, 50, who was arrested for allegedly making a series of disturbing threats against President Donald Trump on social media, including a post about “disemboweling” him and another urging his arrest as a “terrorist,” has been released.

For context, despite U.S. Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya citing “very troubling conduct” and ordering detention, infamous woke Chief Judge James Boasberg, an Obama appointee, ordered Jones’ release on August 27, 2025, under GPS monitoring and psychiatric evaluation.

In the past, Boasberg has clashed with the Trump administration over a number of immigration decisions, including the president’s decision to invoke the Alien Enemies Act to deport several Venezuelan gangsters. In reaction to the judges’ unprecedented actions, he has faced a misconduct complaint for warning of a “constitutional crisis.”

As we reported, Nathalie Rose Jones made an unhinged series of remarks on social media about the president. She allegedly posted, “I am willing to sacrificially kill this POTUS by disemboweling him and cutting out his trachea with Liz Cheney and all The Affirmation (sic) present.”

Continuing her bizarre and worrisome threats, the woman stated, “Please arrange the arrest and removal ceremony of POTUS Trump as a terrorist on the American People from 10-2pm at the White House on Saturday, August 16th, 2025.”

Reacting to the situation, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro, a former Fox News host, blasted the unhinged woman. Pirro declared, “Threatening the life of the President is one of the most serious crimes and one that will be met with swift and unwavering prosecution. Make no mistake—justice will be served.” —

Turning to the law enforcement officers who initially arrested Jones, she added, “We extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated law enforcement partners, especially the Secret Service Special Agents from New York and Washington, D.C., for their tireless commitment to protecting our leaders and our nation.”

In another video statement on the arrest, Pirro stated, “Hi everyone. It’s Judge Jeanine. I just wanted to let you know here from the United States Attorney’s Office in DC that an individual by the name of Natalia Rose Jones is now in custody, charged with two federal crimes for knowingly and willfully threatening to take the life of the President of the United States.”

Offering a sobering insight into the threats, she noted, “She did come from New York to Washington, DC, and she has been threatening and calling for the removal of the president. And even worse, as she got to DC, her threats were on Facebook and Instagram, and she continued to call the president of terrorists and was working to have him eliminated. She is now in custody,” adding, “She will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Make no mistake about that.”

Adding an expert’s view of the deranged comments, Special Agent in Charge Matt McCool explained the seriousness of these remarks and promised to take them seriously. McCool said, “Protecting the President of the United States is our highest priority, and every potential threat is addressed with the utmost seriousness.”
