In a significant blow to the Democrats, President Donald Trump announced that he had raised over $1.5 billion since the 2024 election. In a post to Truth Social, he revealed the good news and emphasized his goal tp “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
Additionally, a report from Fox News Digital noted that his political operation, including the RNC, secured $900 million since November, with pledges totaling over $1.4 billion. Despite his decision not to run for a third time and the limitations of the 22nd Amendment, Trump’s fundraising prowess remains unparalleled. This massive war chest could help the Republicans maintain congressional control,
Announcing the massive win in a post to social media. The president stated, “I am pleased to report that I have raised, since the Great Presidential Election of 2024, in various forms and political entities, in excess of 1.5 Billion Dollars. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!! President DJT.”
Building on this point, Fox News Digital highlighted the significant contribution Trump has made to the GOP, specifically his ability to raise substantial funds. The report noted, “The president’s political operation, including the cash on hand at the Republican National Committee, has raised a historic $900 million since November, and other commitments will bring the total to more than $1.4 billion.”
One of the other major factos in upcoming elections, is the battle over redistring in many states. As we reported, Vice President JD Vance urged red states to counter “aggressive” Democratic gerrymandering in states like California, New York, and Illinois. Supporting his argument, he noted that including illegal immigrants in census counts for redistricting unfairly benefits Democrats.
In any case, the vice president started his remarks by saying, “The democratic system in this country is broken because who you vote for doesn’t necessarily get reflected in who your representatives are.” Contextualizing his remarks, Vance added, “We’re just trying to rebalance the scales and frankly push back against a very unfair system created by the Democrats.”
Building on this point, he said, “It’s ridiculously unfair” that illegal aliens are represented in Congress to the same degree as legal American citizens. Proclaiming the solution to this issue, he said, “The only real way to fight back against it is for us to redistrict, in some ways, as aggressively as these hard blue states have done.”

Using a specific example to back up his assertions, the popular Republican said, “California has crazy gerrymanders, Illinois has crazy gerrymanders, New York has crazy gerrymanders. What it does is suppress the will of the people in states like Indiana.”
However, according to Vance, the Democrats have overplayed their hand. The VP argued, “There’s just not a whole lot of juice left out of that lemon. The Democrats have already gone as far as they possibly can.” Adding to his previous argument, he said, “You cannot gerrymander these far-left states anymore.”
Concluding his comments, the vice president stated, “The gerrymander in California is outrageous. Of their 52 congressional districts, 9 of them are Republican. That means 17 percent of their delegation is Republican when Republicans regularly win 40 percent of the vote in that state. How can this possibly be allowed?
