During a dangerous riot, a mob of up to 20 anti-ICE protesters attacked immigration agents outside a courthouse in San Francisco. One protester, Angelica Guerrero, referred to as Adrian Guerrero in some sources, allegedly threatened to stab an officer and harm his family while slashing an ICE vehicle’s tire.

For context, Guerrero was armed with a knife and wearing a keffiyeh when she was arrested and charged with assault and property destruction. According to local media, the protestor was released after 24 hours in jail, and made several entitled statements criticising ICE and the conditions of the prison where she was detained.

As cited in court filings from the Department of Homeland Security, Guerrero made vile threats against ICE officers. The aggressor yelled, “I’m going to f— you up,” “I’m going to go after your family,” and “I’m going to stab you.”

Reacting to the arrest, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem criticised the violent rhetoric, saying, “These acts of violence are fueled by sanctuary politicians’ rhetoric vilifying our law enforcement. We will not let this violence stop us or slow us down. Every day, our law enforcement continues to enforce the law and arrest the most depraved criminals, including pedophiles, terrorists, murderers, gang members, and sexual predators.”

According to local media, Angelica Guerrero was released after 24 hours in custody, and the alleged assailant released an absurd statement where she refused to take accountability for he actions. The far left protestor said she was detained, “Without a phone call, without being able to contact a lawyer or anything.” Guerrero added, “They are limiting my freedom of speech.”

Still not done, she complained that, “They could have shipped me to Louisiana. Nobody would have known about it until charges were filed…Those holding cells in Santa Rita Jail are barbaric.” Guerrero said, “Santa Rita Jail has been prosecuted many times for their subhuman and miserable conditions. The walls where I was meant to sleep were covered in feces and blood.”

Speaking about the same event, Sanika Mahajan, who works for the left-wing group Mission Action, stated, “An agent tackled her and detained her. Put her hands behind her back. I didn’t hear any rights being read or anything like that.”

Maria Guerrero, the alleged assailant’s mother, whined, “Everyone has the right to due process, and how ICE behaved and how they are behaving forward (sic) is unjust because it’s not just our child. There are many people impacted by this.”

Reacting to the arrest, Rachel Lederman, Senior Counsel at the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund, went on a massive woke tirade. The lawyer complained, “First Amendment right to protest and the sidewalk is a public space that is traditionally allocated for that, there is also a Fourth Amendment right that protects you from unreasonable searches and violence by the police. Here, the ICE agents were immediately violent with the crowd.” Concluding her remarks, she added, “Normally, with a federal arrest, you do have a right to make three phone calls, fairly immediately.”
